Chapter 11

The fancy café hummed with soft chatter. In a quiet corner, kook and Jack, his business partner, sat facing each other. Kook's mind raced with thoughts of how profitable the collaboration could be for his company. Jack, sensing Kook's interest, leaned forward eagerly.

Jack: "Mr. Jeon you want to say something?".

Kook: "Hmm, I like the deal. I'm interested in collaborating with your company," he replied coldly.

Jack: "Excellent! This calls for a celebration. Let me order something special".

Kook: "That won't be necessary," he said, already reaching for his briefcase.

"I should be going",  said coldly.

Jack: "Please, Mr. Jeon," Jack pleaded,

"Just a quick toast to our future success?"

Kook nods with a blank face. As Jack scanned the room for a waiter, his gaze landed on a particularly handsome server across the café.

Jack: 'So hot'.

"Waiter", says looking in that hot waiter direction.

Waiter: "Yes sir".

Jack: "Not you. Call him", he pointed to the handsome waiter.

The momentary distraction didn't escape Kook's notice.

Kook: "Why are you calling for that other waiter?" asked rudely.

Jack: "If you had seen that waiter, you would have called him too. He is so hot and handsome".

Kook rolled his eyes.

Kook: "For me, only my Tae is handsome and hot". thought to himself.

Lost in thoughts of his husband, kook barely noticed the approached of the requested waiter until a familiar voice jolted him back to reality.

Tae: "Yes, sir? You called me?"

Kook's head snapped up at the sound of Tae's voice, their eyes meeting instantly

Tae: "Koo", he whispered.

Jack cleared his throat, breaking the moment between them.

Tae: "Is there something you need, sir?", he asked politely, sensing Kook's gaze on him.

Jack: "You", says blushing.

Kook's jaw clenched, his hand curling into a fist beneath the table.

Tae: "Excuse me?" he replied, confused by Jack's forwardness.

Jack: "You are very handsome. Can I have your number?" asked blushing.

Kook shot Jack a piercing glare, his patience wearing thin.

Tae: "Sorry sir but I can't give you my number", says politely.

Jack: "No problem. How about a date then?"

Kook: "This bastard," he muttered under his breath, his anger rising.

Tae: "I'm not available for dates." said irritated.

Jack: "Ok, then just sleep with me, I will give you a lot of money in return. Looking at you, it seems like you will be very wild in bed", says with lust in his eyes.

Tae was about to say something, but then Kook did something that left him utterly shocked.
