"You told me about Sophie Foster?"
Annabeth told me.
"Well she just called."
Okay?
"Not really. A close friend of her's. Alden Vacker he claims. He told me to, Tell Perseus Jackson to meet at a place. He will know where."I laughed at Annabeth's imitation of this so called Alden Vacker. And me knowing where?! How the Hades should I know that. It's not like someone would implant a memory in my brain.......
Nevermind."She has this really wierd aura. I'm ninety-eight percent sure she is not a half-blood. Ruben told me so. He came there for Laura....... Laura, ach, I can't remember the name." I shook my head.
"Whatever. Sophie's also like super duper smart. She claims she has photographic memory. I'm not so sure what to believe and what to not, considering my situation."
"Well, I think that you should always have a plan. So let's make a-"
"PERCY!"
Okay. What. Now."What's up" I said peeking into the kitchen.
"I need help." My little sister Estelle said. She was covered in blue batter. Probably making cookies. Paul told me to look after her while he and my mom went to search for something in the office.
"Okayyyyyyy. What do you need help with."
"I need help with the cookies."
I went in and tried to help her, but I was stopped by her.
"Nuh uh. I want help from Annabeth. You can sit there and relax."
Brutal.
"Yeah seaweed brain. Take a break. You helped save the world more than three times already. Three times to much." Annabeth interrupted. She pushed me away and turned to Estelle.
"Let's get started, shall we?"
As I turned to go, I felt something. I think I know where to meet up........
No that's-
I have to meet at the front of the Empire State Building.
No way.
No freaking way. How the Hades did that happen?!
I swear I had no idea how that happened.
"Hey Seaweed Brain, you alright?"
Annabeth's voice shook me out of my thoughts. Her eyebrows knitted together, "You've been staring out the balcony for half an hour now. Last time you've done that was when you were about to start the second titan war. That can't be good."
"It's- it's fine. Just thinking about that call you had earlier."
Annabeth's eyes widened. "Don't tell me......"
She paused.
"Anyway, the cookies are ready. Blue as always! Save some for your mom and Paul though."
Annabeth had plastered a smile on her face but I could still see the concern in her eyes. I mean it's nice of her to be concerned for me, but it's probably just a sick joke some mortal did while I asked some people if they knew a girl called Sophie Foster.
I'll just sleep on it.
