Like I said, there's nothing to worry about."

"Yeah, for the tenth time. Everytime you say that, there is always something to worry about." Sophie grumbled at Alden Vacker, tugging out an eyelash.

Sophie had considered peeking into Alden's mind to see what he was worrying about, but last time she did that without permission, it didn't go very well.

Alden had told her to stay put and not to worry, but that just wasn't in Sophie's nature. Besides this is about her. She is not going to let a problem leave her like a wimpy girl.

"Heyyyy! Anything wrong?" Biana popped up. She was using her powers as a vanisher almost 24/7 ever since she manifested.

"There definitely is something wrong. Thinking about your old family?"

Sophie shook her head.

"Aww come on! Tell me. What is it?"

Alden spoke for Sophie saving her from the long explanation. He told Biana what had happened, but left the part where the washers removed all memories of Sophie from her human family. Probably to spare her the grief.

"So basically nobody remembers you in the human world except for a teenage boy called Perseus Jackson. Could he be an elf?"

"Not that I know of. Besides it would probably be too risky for two elves who don't know they are elves in the same place. It could cause chaos." Alden told his daughter.

"Which is exactly why I'm scheduling an appointment with him. Apparently he actually lives all the way in another forbidden city called Manhattan. The council knows nothing about this. Only you, Sophie, and Fitz know about this. Not even Alvar knows. Not your mother either. Keep it a secret okay?"

"Oh my gosh!"

"Why is the air here so polluted?!" Biana exclaimed.

"And this is way they call impressive?" Fitz said, staring up at the Empire State Building.

"What about we build something like this back at Everglen? But wayyyyyy better." Biana told Alden. She started to go on and on, on how they could design it.

Sophie spotted two teenagers looking around. One was a girl with curly blond hair and gray eyes just like a storm. Never in her life had she seen eyes like that. Not in the Elvin world either. Maybe she could be an elf. The boy also had a striking appearance. He kind of reminded her of Fitz with the sharp features. The boy had disheveled raven black hair - kind of like Keefe's style, but more like the 'just got out of bed' type - and sea green eyes.

Sophie thought that they would stand out with the tunics and the capes but apparently, they fit right in. In fact the matched with some humans dressing up as elves.

"Hey, I think it's him, Perseus Jackson." Sophie said, tugging on Alden's arm.

Biana wanted to sneak up on them and scare the living daylights out of them, but Alden had other plans. He told them to stay put and he'll will do the talking.

"Excuse me, are you Perseus Jackson?" Alden asked

"And why do you have a dagger in your boot?" Fitz added. He pointed to the girl's boot. It, indeed had a dagger in it.

"My name is Percy, Percy Jackson. And this is my friend, Annabeth. And how do you know it's a dagger?"

"Uh, because we can see it, duh." Biana said.

So much for Alden's plan working.

"Hang on a sec, " Percy raised his hand.

"One, how do you know my name? Two, are you guys monsters? And three are you Sophie Foster?"

The last question set Sophie off a bit even though she should've expected it.

"Uh, yeah. Which brings us to the topic, how do you remember me?"

Annabeth snorted. She muttered something like classic mist, which made zero sense. Then again humans made zero sense.

Sophie tried to get a small peek into Percy's mind to see what they should erase, she saw pretty much nothing. Kind of wierd.

Correction, really wierd.

Sophie had blocked all the human thoughts the way Tiergan had taught her, so she wouldn't have a splitting headache.

"Why don't we go somewhere. I live somewhere around here." Percy said breaking the silence.

"This is my apartment. Sorry if it's small. "

Percy opened the door.

"It's my friends birthday today. Everyone has left but the birthday girl stayed. Bit too far away for her to go home this late. We have some cookies also. But save some for me."

Annabeth slapped Percy muttering something at him.

Sophie wondered why Percy could open the door without unlocking it but she left that thought there. She probably didn't want to know anything about that.

"Mom!Piper! I have some friends! "

Sophie noticed the fact that Percy called Fitz, Biana, Alden and her, his friends. Maybe he was friendly.

"Welcome, I'm always open for new friends. Here have some lemonade and make yourselves comfortable. My name's Sally." Sally looked a lot like Percy, aside from the sea green eyes.

Sally's voice had this warm and enchanting ring to it. It was like inviting Sophie to sit down and have a long sleep on the couch.

"I'm Piper." Piper said.

Piper looked like a Native American. She had choppy hair braided to her side. Her eyes seemed to change colours, as if she had drunk one of Dex's elixirs from Slurps and Burps.   Though that was probably just the lighting.

Probably.......

As they say down Alden and Sophie shared a look. They were going to knock them out with some gas and take them to the lost cities to ask them some questions and give them a memory wipe. Not that Sophie wanted to do this.

Sophie tugged on several eyelashes until one finally fell out. She looked across the room and saw several swords hanging on the wall. It definitely didn't look like a decorative addition. It looked just like the swords goblins have. Maybe Percy was a threat.

"So do you want to introduce yourselves, and tell us what you wanted to talk about?" Percy and Annabeth finally sat down after doing several things that Sophie did not know.

"Okay, first thing's first, don't hate us." Alden said.
