The following days, Adam was beside me. Siya ang nag alaga sa akin hanggang makalabas ako ng ospital. And we were good then again.
Nang makabalik kami ng school ay second week na ng pasukan. The teachers didn't mind because classes just started and there's not much that we need to catch up for. And our routine went on. Every last subject, we'll have to separate ways. May sari-sarili kaming program na gustong pag aralan kaya naman tuwing uwian na lang din kami nagkikita at lumalabas kung gusto namin.
Ngayon nga ay nasa kalagitnaan na kami ng first quarter. Probably by next week, mag uumpisa na ang pagrereview for the exams.
"Okay class. Don't forget your projects to be presented next Friday. That's it for now. Goodbye, class." Nang makalabas si Sir Terry ay sumunod na rin ang iba. I stood up and fixed my things.
"Faster, Eve! Andun na daw sila sa café!" Lucian from the door shouted. Napailing na lang ako at binilisan ang pagkilos.
Since the first day of class, Lucian and Lilith have been with us so we considered them as part of the group. In all honesty, nagiging close ko na rin si Lucian. Probably because we're always together especially that we're in the same photography class.
"Ang bagal mo nga talaga kumilos. Adam never fails to describe you. I really think that both of you are made for each other." He chuckled when I softly smacked him on his arm.
"Shut up, Lucian. Bakit nakakausap mo ba si Adam? May hidwaan kayo diba?" I replied.
"Hidwaan? There's no such thing! We made things clear to each other. Adam's just probably feeling like I am his competitor so I told him not to feel that way. I am also betrothed to another so there's nothing to fear." He winked at me that earned another smack on his arm.
"Gosh, Eve! You're so violent. Pero ang hina pa rin suntok mo. Try harder." He mocked that made me raise my brows.
"Hindi naman ako boksingera. Pero malakas ako sumipa, gusto mo subukan?" I gave a sweet smile. Agad naman siyang napalunok at napangiwi. He raised both his hands up in the air.
"Hindi ako lalaban, boss." He said but I just smirked and suddenly kicked him softly on his thigh.
Napasigaw siya at sinamaan ako ng tingin. Ang arte, mahina lang naman yung sipa.
"Ano try harder? Mahina pa yan sa lagay na yan." Pang aasar ko. Pinitik niya lang ako sa noo saka tumakbo ng mabilis. Napa aray ako sa lakas ng pitik niya.
"Hoy! Halika dito! Try harder pala ha! Ansakit ng pitik mo!" I shouted as I followed him running to the direction of the café.
"Hoy! Lucian, maabutan lang kita, humanda ka!" I shouted again when I entered the café. Everyone inside turned their gaze on me. Mahihiya na sana ako kung hindi ko lang nakita si Lucian na palapit sa mga kaibigan namin. Wala akong pake sa mga taong nakatingin sa akin, bagkus ay dumiretso ako sa dulo ng shop at agad na dinambahan si Lucian na paupo pa lang sana.
"Ah! Eve! Stop!" Natatawang saad niya. Agad namang pinaglayo kami ng mga kaibigan namin. Adam pulled me to his side.
"Hey, hey. So energetic, are we? Anong problema?" Tanong niya. I was heaving then pointed at Lucian.
"Ito kasi eh! Mahina daw ako!"' I pouted. Adam chuckled.
"Ay ay! Anong mahina si Eve! Jusko, Lucian naghahanap ka ata ng away." Pabirong komento ni Eli saka tumayo. Ngumisi lang si Lucian. Leo also stood up.
"Ano, Adam?" Saad nito. Tumango si Adam at agad namang hinawakan ni Eli at Leo ang magkabilang kamay ni Lucian. Pumalag si Lucian habang ang mga babae naman ay tumatawa sa gilid namin.
