I had no intention in working for a lowlife like Hanged Man's user. However I'd humour him and head to the designated meeting point where the Emperor Stand user would be waiting.
Truth be told, I was open to the idea of working alongside other Stand users, it just so happened that all the ones I'd met already were either egotistical pretentious assholes like that false ship captain or full-on psychopaths like Devo the Cursed.
I'd memorised the location provided by Hanged Man and as soon as I'd awoken again, I began making my way to said location. Arriving not long before sunset. Looking at my watch, if I was in the right place, it wouldn't be long until Emperor arrived.
Now that I thought about it, what if Hanged Man's user showed up? Simply put, I'd kill him and take over his operation for myself. I grinned a bit to myself however I soon stopped when I noticed something appear on the horizon.
I squinted for a moment to try and make-out what it was. It was an elephant which at first wasn't anything special. However upon closer inspection, I noticed two figures atop the elephant, the most prominent of these was a tall-looking man wearing a cowboy-styled outfit.
Once close enough, the elephant came to a stop and I heard the man speak sternly. "Time to get off. I'm here to see a friend of mine and a newcomer." The elephant lowered to the ground as a young girl in traditional Indian attire hopped off.
The cowboy spoke to her "You're on your own from here." As the elephant lifted up, I heard the girl call out to him. "Please, make me your wife! My life will belong to you. Just say whatever you wish of me my love. Please, let me stay by your side forever."
The cowboy seemed hesitant about the girl, however she pressed on, declaring her love for him. At these words, the cowboy hopped down from the elephant and approached the girl.
"Listen, I'm just a no-good drifter baby. I live each day like it's my last, and one day it will be my last." Before she could speak, the cowboy hushed her. "You have royal blood. We can't have a fairy-tale marriage. No matter how much we love each other."
The girl's eyes widened as she asked "So, you do love me?" The cowboy answered "Yep, you're my one and only." At this, I muttered "Gag me." Before walking over with an annoyed expression, catching the pair's attention when I spoke "Good morning."
The two looked at me with different expressions. The girl seemed confused while the cowboy stared at me intensely, saying "So, it's you then. The new guy J.Geil told me about." I nodded "And I assume you're the Stand user of the Emperor?" The cowboy introduced "That's right, the name's Hol Horse. And you?"

I introduced myself as well, saying "Gladius." Hol Horse grinned "Well, now we ain't strangers." He turned his attention to the young girl and said "Right, that's your cue. You'd best be going." However I raised my hand a bit.
