??? POV

"Forgive me for disturbing you master. But I'm sure you are already aware, about ten minutes ago, Joestar and his comrades infiltrated the mansion. I must also inform you that D'Arby has been defeated."

For a moment, there was silence before the voice of my master spoke. "D'Arby was a genius, with competence and acumen, D'Arby should have won. Why do you think he suffered defeat? Come in, Vanilla Ice."

"As you wish." Was all I said as I pushed the door open. And there he sat, my master whom I'd devoted my very life to serving. He didn't even look at me as he spoke.

"The Joestars, are unconditionally prepared to sacrifice their own lives in order to save their family. Kakyoin, Gladius and the other three. What were their names? Ah yes, Avdol, Polnareff and Gyalzen are willing to die to destroy me. They believe running from me would mean running from themselves. That is their strength."

He paused, looking at the glass in his hand, before continuing. "D'Arby may have sworn his loyalty towards me, but he was not prepared to die on my behalf. That is why, on the edge of glory, he couldn't clinch victory. For all eternity, D'Arby will remain in ignorance. Ice, look at the scar on my neck."

He brushed his hair aside to show me his wound. "Jonathan Joestar's body is still rejecting me. But all it takes is the blood of one more soul. The body will become mine and the wound will heal. Ice, will you give me your life's blood?"

That was all I needed to hear. Placing an urn in front of me, I summoned my Stand and everything went dark. It was all worth it though, my blood would serve my master.

What I didn't expect was to snap awake almost straight after. My Master DIO stood over me, as I got to my feet, I spoke "DIO, my Lord." DIO turned and spoke. "Your loyalty is commendable, I wish to tell you something."

I raised an eyebrow in confusion. "My Lord?" DIO approached the bed before lying on it again. "Only a select few know of this. Even D'Arby and that old hag, Enya didn't know. There was another who shared loyalty similar to yours, my brother."

My eyes widened, I never thought Lord DIO had a brother! He continued explaining "His existence is known to only those I trust and those who I deem it necessary to know. Much like me, he was Vampire and despite brief arguments, he was still very loyal to my ambition."

I heard him sigh "My brother was named Damian Brando. He died exactly one hundred years ago at the hands of the very man who's body I now possess, Jonathan Joestar. I often find myself wondering, what would his Stand have been? Would he still be loyal to me to this day? I will never know."

I bowed, taking in what my master told me before saying "Then if it is your wish, I shall fight to avenge your fallen brother as well." DIO glanced to me, remaining silent for a moment before finally saying.
