The anthem of a whirlwind

Dizzy my anger
Turn around the clock
Sound sixty times
Tell us to stop

And I tell you my stories my secrets my dear
I tell you about the colors I hear
No turning back from the fear
So sing with the whispers in your ear

Nauseous the tears
I drank this death before
Life spins in circles
The grave opens like a door

And I scream every poem I hold near
None of these words will disappear
I bleed from the glass wings I wear
Cut through the reddening smear

Helpless my skin
Forming the centerpoint
Of my whirlwind heart
Ready to shred these shards

And I promise there is no world I won't tear
Blood from my bones I will shear
Corrupt the universe in a year
To free myself from this twisting sphere

Surrounded my soul
Eyes drafting circles
Asking wordlessly to find her
The day turning clouds clear
