Reprise

A sigh breaks the silence
The fall undoes, the rope rewinds
Feet regain solid ground, so unsteady
Staring back into the lonely, retracing the steps
Thoughts regain consciousness
An overwhelming sense of fear gets undone
The heavy weight of determination and hopelessness lifts once again
Somehow the night fades back into night
The sun undoes her rounds as we step back into the last moments
Freed from the curse that rests in this reprise
