The idea you thought of revolved through your mind, and after reflecting upon it for several hours, you felt defeated.
'It's totally unreasonable, there's no way something like that is possible.'
Lost in your self-deprecating thoughts, you absentmindedly trailed your fingers through the grass beside you, weaving them between the countless blades. You were propped up against the trunk of a tree, the sky beginning to darken the longer you sat there.
You observed the insects around you, those who could fly and those burrowing in the dirt. You were upset with your lack of progress after spending hours contemplating the idea you had, especially since it seemed like an ability that would be immeasurably useful in almost all scenarios. You began to remember the conversation between the two others, currently elsewhere in the forest, as a spider unexpectedly pounced on an ant you had your eyes on.
'Make a contract with conditions.'
Recalling the words Izunavi had said to Kurapika, a sudden realization came to your mind. 'The stricter the limitation, the more power your ability will be able to gain from it.' His words flowed through your mind as you slowly regained the confidence you had lost just moments ago.
'Perhaps it is possible, but what would I stake?'
You remembered that Kurapika was staking his life on the condition he would set for himself, but were you prepared to do the same?
You clenched your jaw, grinding your teeth in frustration as you desperately flipped through conditions you could set, unable to figure out which would be the most reasonable while greatly multiplying your power.
The words Kurapika had said to you earlier echoed through your mind, and you felt more hopeless than ever.
'What if, to use the ability, I have to meet certain conditions first, like touching the person? Or maybe seeing their Nen ability? Oh, and knowing what it does! Also, I would have to...'

Another hour passes, and you are finally ready to attempt your Hatsu. Of course, you were not hoping to execute exactly what you had in mind; instead, you were focusing on being able to create what you had imagined.
You stood from your spot beneath the tree and sauntered over to the centre of the clearing. Holding your hands out in front of you, palms facing outward, you closed your eyes and focused on imagining your aura take on the form of black smoke. You did this for a few minutes, simply imagining how it would flow out from
your palms, how it would look, feel, and finally, how it would affect others.
