Chapter 9

They both looked at each other, they just finished taking a bath and are currently standing outside "Woah do you think we can go back to the base with this state?" she asked, Yami put his arms on the back of his head "They have Inn here I think it's better if we stay there for a while" she nodded.

They checked in to the inn "Hmm I wonder why it happens..." she held her waist while looking outside the window "Probably so we can have much time for each other" Sukehiro hugged her from behind "You think so?" she turned around and looked in his eyes "I'll take it something like that" he caressed her cheek with the back of his hand, she smiled.

On the other hand, "Yuma-san-" Asta trembles when he opens Yuma's room and sees him, his hair wasn't tied up and he was sitting at the side of his bed only the half of his face reveals, he looks like a ghost! "Y-Yuma-san! are you alright?" Asta went beside him "I'm okay" his eyes were wide open and he smiled, Asta gasped because he felt shivers through his spine "eh? Not really, come on tell me what happened?" Yuma puts his hands on his face and screams that even the lamps flickered "Waaah! Y-Yuma-san!" Asta held his shoulder, he calmed down a little "Don't tell Rosean about this" Asta nodded, Yuma stood and looked outside then he deactivated his magic spell they rain stops in instant "So it's you!" He nodded he turn around and pat Asta on the head then smiled "It's our little secret" Asta felt confused but Yuma just lay back to his bed "You looked good when your hair is not tied up" Asta said and smiled "Oh I Don't know that" Asta sat beside him "You doesn't look like Nacht at all! I mean he looks good as well but I never seen him without his ponytail" Yuma chuckles, Asta is really honest and he found it amazing "Thank you" Yuma closes his eyes and fell asleep.

Asta put his blanket before he left Yuma's room.

It's already Sunset when Yami and Rosean arrived "Lady Rosean" Vanessa approached her "Yuma still haven't got up from the bed" she frowned "Bed? I left him on the cage of my beasts earlier, right?" Rosean closed her eyes and took a deep breath "Did he go out?" Vanessa looked down "No, he did not. He was about to go out earlier but it rain" Gauche said, he was sitting on the counter "Uhm yeah" Gordon said, Yami sharpened his eyes knowing they are just trying to cover him "Oy Finral" Finral got startled from his seat "Yes Captain?" he asked and smiled nervously "Have you fix your things already?" Finral gasped "Ah haha no! I'll fix it before I go to sleep" Finral scratched the back of his head.

Rosean went to Yuma's room "Yuma" she sat beside him and caressed his cheek gently "Are you alright?" he looked away, she sighed "I'm sorry" he did not response "Are we going to leave early in the morning?" she gasped a little, knowing he was trying to change the topic "Do you still want to come? I mean you can stay here for awhile then just ready yourself for our next journey" he shook his head "I want to go" she bit her lower lips "Alright, we will leave early in the morning and I have already sent the Captains a letter" Yuma nodded, he turned facing the wall "Yuma, are you mad at me?" he shook his head "Of course not" he said without looking at her "I know you well, we've been together for almost forever, come on Don't worry I will understand you" she held his arm but he did not move, he suddenly remembered the first time they saw each other.

FLASHBACK

He was just a little boy that time when they met, he is wearing a worn out clothes and his wings is broken because of training, he was crying when suddenly he heard a rustling sound from the bushes "Who's there?" he asked, to his surprised a young girl suddenly jumped at him back "Hello amazing bird!" she giggles "What? who are you?" he asked with confusion "I am Rosean! would you like to go with me? I'll help you to train!" at first he was hesitating but then he agreed, from that day they always get together and when they turned eighteen her father assigned him as her guardian.

FLASHBACK END

He looked on her "I told you I'm okay" he said in plain voice but she clicked her tongue and brushed his hair "Shut up, come on I know you're mad at me" she made him use her arm as pillow "Rosean! what are you doing? you're boyfriend will be mad!" he tried to push her away but she widened her eyes "Yuma, I will send you back to the Land of the Sun if you will keep pushing me!" he raised his eyebrow while looking at her "And how will you do that?" she rolled her eyes and looked back on him "I'll put you on the box and will send you there" he gave her bored look "Shut up, I know you can't do that. You gonna miss me and will keep looking for me" she smirks "Maybe you're the one who's going to do that!" he turned around and faced her "Oh yeah? you think so? hmm well, you're right...." he sighed then he sat and took a deep breath "So, how was your date with him?" she sat beside him "Well, it rains because someone beside me threw a tantrum" he pouted his lips "You can't blame me! but still, I'm happy that you finally being happy again Rosean" he hold her hand and squeeze it gently "Maybe I'm just having a separation anxiety, we've been together for quite so long! I just can't accept the fact that one day, You'll getting married and you will leave me" he sighed and looked down, she smiled gently "You can still be around like we used to do. You are my guardian, right? I can't just abandon you after all the help you made to me" he looked at her and smiled at her gently "You are my best friend and I will never want to lose you" he kissed her forehead.

Rosean fixing her things on her room and after awhile she lay down on the bed and think of what happened between her and Yami, she's blushing and and can't help but to smile, she knows they will go through a very dangerous mission tomorrow but still she felt excited rather than nervous.

In the morning, Nozel and Charlotte was waiting outside the headquarters of the Blackbulls, laying his back to a tree "I can't believe I will have to wait for you!" he said in an annoyed tone as he saw Yami, Rosean and Yuma walking towards him, Rosean smiled at him sweetly "Good morning Captain Nozel!" she looked at Charlotte who was also leaning her back at the tree "Good morning Captain Roselei, sorry if we keep you waiting" Charlotte smiled a little to her "That's alright" she glanced at Yami a little then nodded her head "Good Morning Prickly Queen!" She gasped and turned around "G-Good Morning!" she's trying her best to hid her feelings, Yuma smiled secretly as he feeling the mana from Charlotte's feelings and also he can read her mind.

As they ride on Nozel's silver Eagle, Yami stayed beside Rosean and he can see amusement on her eyes he can't help but to smile "Mr. Hubris' Silver Eagle was cool, right?" she chuckles "What kind of nickname is that?" she whispered trying to stop her laugh "I can still hear you!" Nozel shouted and frown, Rosean got up and sat beside "I'm sorry about that Captain Nozel" he looked away "It's not you! that foreigner keeps hitting my nerve!" Rosean laughed and shook her head then she transferred to Finral's side "You alright?" she asked "Yes! I'm kind of nervous about what kind of enemies are we going to face" he said and scratched the back of his nape "I got your back" Yuma smiled at him, Finral feel more relax.

Rosean was supposedly going back on Yami's side but she saw Charlotte was already there, she watched the two sitting together and she smiled "Hey Yuma wanna fly with me?" she stood, Yuma smiled "You sure you can? it's been a long time since the last time we fly!" Yuma got excited too and Rosean went to the edge of the eagle, then she opened her cape widely and let herself fall, Nozel gasped "Rosean!" he shouted but when he looked down he saw her flying using her cape and Yuma went beside her.

Yuma watches Rosean's face, he can see loneliness there.
