Chapter 22

"There is only one person who can do that" Julius smiled as he looked outside his window "Who could it be?" He faced Marx and smiled "Of course that mysterious man who can be a bird and human, Yuma" Marx gasped a little "I'll convince him to be part of Magic knight" Julius started working on his papers.

Rosean saw Yuma flying above them and she smiled, he went down and landed on her shoulder.

She noticed that there was a small bleeding on his right wing "Yuma what happened?" she asked in worried "He's bleeding?" Charlotte noticed it too but before they could intrigue him he flew away "I'll follow him" Rosean jumps and opens her cape.

"Yuma" He transformed as a human and flew using his cape "I went back to the Capital and helped them to fight the beasts before it could even approach the Kingdom" he said in a serious tone "Oh so that's what happened" he gasped upon hearing Yami's voice.

When they looked on their left, the rest were on Nozel's Silver Eagle and Yami was standing while his arms were crossed on his chest, Yuma hissed and went high but Rosean grabbed his foot and pulled him down "Stop being stubborn" Yuma looked away while frowning, he remained silent "The beasts are starting to attack the Capital, it means...." Yuma looked at her "It means we're getting closer" he said, they smiled at each other.

Nozel took a deep breath as they landed to a forest close to a palace at seems like dead already "Were here now-" they gasped when they all gasped when a person riding a broom was flying above them following by a lot of wasped, before Rosean could stop him Yuma raised his hand, the Captains gasped as they saw a blinding light melted the wasp, the mage looked down at them but it immediately vanished "Yuma!" Rosean held his arm "It will be heading to the Capital! Don't worry, they can handle him" Yuma nodded "Alright" Nozel squint his eyes same as Charlotte and they only have one thought on their head....

Yuma felt another mage but before he could react someone died behind the tree! when he looked beside him he saw that Rosean smirk, he laughed a little and Rosean went back on his side "What!?" Yami gasped, Rosean managed to use illusion to them she laugh "Damn just what kind of magic do you guys have?" Gauche said, Rosean looked at him "You'll find out soon" she winked at him, Gauche looked away, Yami smirks feeling proud of Rosean.

Rosean stopped feeling another presence following them, Yami was about to attack it but Rosean held his hand "Don't. it's a guide" Yami took a deep breath.

As they enter the palace, the dark mana are getting stronger "At last you finally arrive!" they heard another voice, Yuma held Rosean's hand "No matter what happen, I'll protect you" he whispered, Rosean stared at him "I'll do the same" she was about to looked at him but suddenly someone bumped at him.

Yami quickly grabbed Rosean away while Yuma flew towards a wall causing it to be destroyed, Nozel protected them from flying debris by creating shield of mercury, Asta gasped seeing a mage with strange clothing, she's only wearing a silk that was crossed on her breast and tied up behind her neck and a long skirt with slit on each sides "Wow wow wow! Looks like you brought a friend, Rosean" Rosean squint her eyes "Bastard I wasn't here to play!" the woman laughed "But I love playing especially with that musculine man on your side" she bit her finger "Sorry but I'm not a fan of cheap looking and too flashy woman like you" Yami smirks, the lady made a sad fake face "Oh aren't you amazed with my beauty?" she gasped when suddenly Rosean slashed her katana on her face, Rosean smiled maniacally "Beauty? seems like the standard of your master was cheaper than I thought!" the lady keeps jumping away but she chuckles "Wow that was close one! anyway, maybe you're right that's why he likes you a lot!" she kicked Rosean that made a distance between them.

They both catching their breaths, Rosean gasped when she didn't feel Yuma's mana "Yuma!" she shouted, the lady cackles "Yuma haha seems like your pet was dead already" Yami picked out his katana, Charlotte did the same but when they was about to help Rosean they both got surprised when a boy with green hair came on their side "Gocha!" Asta immediately got his sword and shield the acid attack from that boy "Asta!" Finral used his spatial magic to help Yami to get close to Rosean.

"By the way, seems like Rosean don't want me to know you guys but let me introduce myself, I am Vivian" the boy was able to regained himself and smiled gleefully "And I am Allore, nice to meet you!" Luck activated his magic and jumped to Allore "Well hello nice to meet you too!" Allore was surprised when Luck kicked him hard on the face "Haha I would love to fight you!" Allore held his cheek while looking at Luck "Woah amazing! Kakarauri would love to have your magic!" Luck laughed again.

Allore jumped towards Vivian and handed her Yuma's grimoire, Rosean gasped and to her furious she opened her grimoire "Illusion magic: Painless death" Vivian was a bit stunned when there was nothing happening "What?" Rosean looked at her katana, Vivian laughed loudly "Seems like the master is already using his magic to help us" Rosean glared at them, Yami distanced himself "Dark cloaked avidya slash!" Rosean jumped to give way to Yami's attack but the two managed to dodge it not for long, because Nozel's Silver spear flew towards them and same as Charlotte's Scarlet braided beautiful spear.

Allore was surprised and he got hit by Silver spear on his waist and Vivian gasped too when the beautiful spear almost hit her, she looked at them and smiled "That was amazing but-" she didn't manage to finish her word because her blood burst out from huge cross wound across her body but she didn't feel anything.

Rosean smirks, Allore looked at her with horror "You think my magic stopped working and that bastard helped you? too bad that's not how my game works" Vivian spits a lot of blood "Vivian!" Allore runs towards her but Luck attacks him "Don't forget who's your opponent!" Luck laughed like a maniac, Vivian was about to open Yuma's grimoire but then "Who told you I'm dead?" he steps on her back and picks up his grimoire.

"Yuma!" Rosean smiled, he winked at her "What?" Allore said while his eyes are full of fear,  Yuma smirks "Drop it" Vivian got up and looked over to them.

After awhile, Allore smiled and started laughing like he was out of his mind "I was planning to play more but seems like you spoil it already" Yuma removed his ponytail "You delaying our plan. Bring it on.... weakling" Allore gasped and with that, his mana exploded and it shook the whole place, Vivian smirks, Rosean frowned.

Allore transformed into a devil " Death magic creation: Poisonous arrow!"  Yuma smirks, Asta attacked the arrows with his Anti-magic sword "Not today!" he shouted " Trap magic: Circus trampoline" Allore gasped when from his back a trampoline appeared when his back hit it he bounce towards Yuma, Rosean ready herself but Yuma stood but a poisonous arrow slashed his cheek slightly, Nozel threw silver bullets and Yami slashed his sword, Rosean looked over to Vivian, Finral understood he have to help Rosean so he opened a portal not just one but two.

Vivian was confused but she ready herself, when Rosean entered the portal Vivian laughed maniacally and was about to attacked Finral but Gauche act faster and was able to counter her attack "Thank you Gauche!" Finral said, Gauche nodded "Don't let your guard down!" Charlotte shouted, Yuma jumped and stabbed Allore "It's over now...Brother" They all gasped, Vivian trembles "B-brother?" she said, Allore chuckles "I thought you forgotten me already" Yuma looked on his face "How come? you betrayed me and the clan" Yuma stabbed him even more "Well, I hope a chance to change my-" Allore spit blood and went back as himself "M-my fate...you can help me with that, right? like we used to do-" Yuma pulled his katana "Of course, I can... that's why I'm setting you free..." Rosean appeared on Vivian's right and now she's wearing a white armor with wings like hair accessories "Illusion magic: Double warrior" Vivian gasped, she smiled and attacked Rosean but then on another portal Rosean went out and stabbed her from the back "Over now" Vivian gasped.
