Chapter 20

WEEK PAST

They are all riding Nozel's eagle, Rosean staring at Yami who's currently sitting in front of her, Vanessa, Grey and Charmy was left at the headquarters together with Gordon "Do you think it's a good idea? I mean Vanessa will be a great help" Yuma said "That's why I told them to stay" he took a deep breath and looked over to everyone.

As they landed in a forest, they set up a camp and Yami helped Rosean to set up their tent "You know what? let me handle this" he took the rope from her and made her sit on a root "Stay there" he said, he continued setting up the tent.

Charlotte was observing them in silence, but Yuma noticed it and he knows how much she wants to spend time with Yami.

Yuma transformed into an eagle and shared bread with Rosean "hehe you should always be a bird so we can save food" he gave her a bored look that made her chuckle, Nozel handed her a water and Yami furrows his eyebrow.

They sat together under the tree and Rosean leaned on his shoulder, the other squad notice their closeness but none of them speaks about it.

Meanwhile at the Capital, the other squads are getting ready even Julius was alert inside his room "Marx" Marx looked at him "What is it sir?" Julius took a deep breath "Let's go out" Marx nodded.

While they are outside, Julius lost Marx on purpose "I know you been staring on us, didn't you?" he turned around towards a woman who's wearing a cloak, she looked on him "Moon magic: light on the darkness!" Julius was a little surprised when she waved her hand and the a dark veil surrounds them but he managed to dodge the light that she used to attacked him "Interesting! moon magic? it's seems like you burrowing light the moon" she jumped when he suddenly teleported on her back, he was surprised when she threw a sword at him "Fight me with that!" she uses her other swords, Julius let out his grimoire which stunned her "You Don't know me, aren't you? I can't feel that you're not an evil" she glared at him and decided to retreat when she realized he was the Wizard King "Not so fast!" Julius was able to catch up with her but she jumped and flew.

They fought each other in the mid air "What's your name?" she kicked him "Why does it matter?" Julius squint his eyes "you only using the five percent of your magic and it's-" he shielded her attack using the sword she handed him "It's rare to find someone who has that kind of magic" they are closed to each other, jumped back and uses her magic again but Julius was able to counter it "It's unfair! you know me but I don't know you!" she smirks although he can't see her face because of her mask "It doesn't matter" she jumps away and flew.

He still chased her and because of that she did not noticed Marx's attack from below, he used his crossed bow to attack her but she managed to missed it "Stop running away because you can't" she turned around and faced Julius "I can if I want to..." she spread her arms and she float higher, he followed her "Give up and I'll give you options" she shook her head "No way I will trust you!" she fly away again. Marx on the other hand ran towards the forest to follow them from below, Julius keep following the spy but then she landed to a cliff "Stop or I'll jump!" Julius landed on front of her he was too close because of that, she lost her balance.

She held on his shoulder and unintentionally dragged him along, Julius was caught off guard he gasped when they fell but surprised when she wrapped her cape on them, they hit the trees below and landed to the ground, she groan because her back hit it and Julius was on her top he pinned her to the ground and was about to remove her mask but he noticed she was bleeding "You have to come with me!" she pushed him away "Go away!" she lay there unable to move because of her painful back, Julius stood and was about to pick her up but then she grabbed some soil and threw it to him, when he looked back she's no longer around.

Marx stopped running when he saw Julius "Sir Julius!" he ran towards him "What happened?" Julius smiled "She was able to escape" Marx gasped, this is the first time that someone got escaped on Julius' hands "Why?" Julius gave him a smile with meaning "Don't worry she will comeback soon" Marx took a deep breath.

Yuma woke up it's already night, he saw Rosean playing with the fire and she's the only one who's awake, he flew on her side and transformed as human, he hugged his knees and stared at her "Do you have anything on your mind?" he asked, she shook her head "No, I just realized that things won't work the way we wanted" he took a deep breath "Yes, It's not always they way you wanted but it's always for the best." she looked at him, he put his face put his face on his knees "Sometimes, we thought we doing the right thing because we getting satisfied but on the point of view of the others it's not, because you hurting them unconsciously" she took deep breath "Is that so? but how about if you're the one who's getting hurt? would you still going to choose what's right for the others?" she asked "That's exactly what I'm doing..." he looked over to Yami who's currently asleep and leaning on a tree "I set aside my own feelings for your happiness. That's the right thing for you" Rosean bit her lower lip and hugged Yuma "And you stayed with me even though I'm telling you to go! thank you Yuma!" she smiled, he leaned his head on hers.

Morning, Yami and Rosean were walking and behind them are Charlotte and the others while Yuma was on Rosean's shoulder, he gave Charlotte a bored look because he knows that she's being jealous of Rosean and she gasped a little before looking away.

Rosean was surprised when Yuma held the back of her collar and stopped her to walk it made Charlotte overtake and was able to walk on Yami's side...

Rosean stared on the two, she noticed how compatible are they, Yami looked down at Charlotte "Prickly Queen are you okay?" she gasped and looked away "I am okay!" Yami raised his eyebrow "But you're face is red" Charlotte Blushed even more, Rosean smiled and looked away "Stay here we'll going to check the surroundings upstairs!" she said, Yami looked at her but she jumped and opened her cape then Yuma followed her.

"Yuma" she said while flying, he looked at her "Lady Rosean?" she smiled and shook her head "Nothing" she flew higher and to their surprised they got attacked.

Nozel felt it from below and he immediately let out his eagle, he flew to where the two to back them up "What's happening up there?" Luck jumped to follow Nozel, Yami and the rest was surprised too when they got attacked by bandits.

Nozel saw what's happening, he immediately helped the two, Luck went on their front and fought with the bandits who's about to come.

Rosean uses her magic and slashed her katana to kill them and after awhile she landed and check the others, Yuma followed her "Yami! Charlotte!" she ran towards them "Lady Rosean are you okay?" Charlotte asked, she nodded "I am okay!" Yami noticed the big slash on her stomach "No you're not!" she covered it with her cape "Don't worry, Yuma will heal me" Yuma nodded.

When the bandits retreat Nozel landed too and check his comrades.
