Chapter 17

Sukehiro watches Rosean practicing alone, they can feel that she's not okay and she has to be alone, suddenly an owl comes with a letter and she reads it.

After a while, she walked towards the forest Yami followed her, she stopped in a clearing "Yuma" she whispered, an eagle appeared but in form of a hologram "Lady Rosean I'm sorry I did my best" she smiled with sadness "That's alright tell me what happened" Sukehiro listening secretly "When I arrived here he was too weak but I've noticed something odd...on his neck there was a marking of chains and I know it's not ordinary chains, My Lady....your Father has been killed by the devil" She held the closest tree and she break it her magic pass through it until to the next trees causing it to collapse "I will kill him" her voice is full of anger "You're going here?" Yuma asked, she looked away and her tears fell "No, Yuma I can't!" Sukehiro can't take it anymore and he went out from the back of the tree "You should be there" she gasped "He is right, you should come here Lady Rosean" she ended the hologram and faced Yami, her heart is beating faster and the tip of her nose was red "What should I do? what should I do? I Don't have any reason to continue this mission!" he hugged tightly and patted her back "I heard your conversation with him, you still have one mission to accomplish but as of now, you should go back there" she cried so hard.

The following day, Sukehiro brought her to the port "Take care" he patted her at the head and cheek "I'll be back" he smiled and hugged her.

She waved goodbye at him as she went up to the ship.

Yami went back to the headquarters and saw Charlotte there with Rill "We heard what happened, are you sure it's a good choice to let her go there on her own?" Charlotte asked, Rill was looking around "If I had known it earlier I would probably go with her" he said "It's her decision" they nodded "What's your plan then?" Charlotte asked "My usual hobbies" he lit a cigarette.

DAYS PAST

Rosean mourned, for her father's death "Yuma" they were standing right in front of his grave "My lady" he stood beside her "The day you arrived did you notice something off?" she asked, he took a deep breath "Yes, I felt a strange mana from your house and I immediately went there but as soon as I entered the house the mana vanished" she squinted her eyes "Then?" he furrowed his eyebrows "Before he died I felt the mana again" she turned around and ran towards the closest cliff Yuma followed her, they jumped and used their cape as wings.

They landed on her house "We will go back now" Yuma nodded despite him wanting to stop her he knows that it's no use.

She hugged her mom and bid farewell "Take care" they hugged each other for the last time.

Yami was often going out with Charlotte well actually it's her squad members who's making way because they don't have idea that Yami and Rosean were in a relationship, right now they are out for tea "I just noticed that your squad members are usually at the headquarter, are they eyeing with one of my boys there?" he smirks, Charlotte gasped "What? I Don't have any idea about that, I will ask them later" he nodded, he noticed the way she took a sip with her tea, it's graceful and with poise unlike Rosean...

He slapped himself and shook his head which surprised Charlotte a little but he cleared his throat "I think we better walk outside" Charlotte nodded and they stood.

Charlotte and Yami were walking, her eyes were looking around, Yami noticed her uneasiness he thought she's not comfortable with him "Would you like to go back at the base?" She gasped, she wants to spend more time with him but she don't know what to say "Yes please" her inner self was screaming loudly!

He escorted her at the Blue Rose headquarters and left, he looked up seeing an sparrow looking at him "Rosean?" he said, he walked towards the tree "Rosean" he held his waist with both hands while looking at the bird "Captain Yami?" he was surprised when Sol stood beside him "Are you talking with that bird?" he gasped and looked back at the sparrow "No, I'm just looking at it!" he laughed and starts walking away deep inside he really feels embarrassed "Wait Captain! can you give this to Captain Charlotte?" he looked back and Sol handed him a hair pin "Why don't you give to her by yourself?" he furrowed his eyebrows "Please! it's a surprise for her and you can give that tomorrow!" he face her "I Don't know what are you up to but this is the last time I will do this" he took the hairpin after giving Sol death glare and walk away, he doesn't want Charlotte feel that he is weird or uncomfortable around him.

The next day, Yuma and Rosean arrived at the Clover Kingdom they went directly at the Black bulls Headquarter "Uhm Captain was out with Finral and some Blue Rose Squad members" Luck said, Rosean took a deep breath "Where are they?" she squint her eyes and Yuma gasped feeling her mana "P-probably at the town" Asta said nervously, she turn around "Yuma stay her for a while, I think I need to teach someone a lesson" they all gasped but then she open her cape and jumped, Yuma took a deep breath and face them "It's been a long time, how are you all?" Yuma smiled awkwardly at them "Were good!" Asta raised his thumb "Yuma we really missed you!" he gasped when Vanessa hugged him tightly "W-wait!" he tried to pushed her since she's just wearing her underwear and cape but she hugged him even more "Come on now! don't be shy!" his eyes widened but everyone smiled at him.

On the other hand, Blue Rose set up a date for Charlotte and Yami they even invited Finral so it won't make it too obvious, Sol dragged Finral with her while they walking "Prickly Queen, I have something to give you" Yami take out the hair pin that Sol handed him, Charlotte's eyes widened "This is for you" she looked away and blushed intensely, Yami scratched his head wondering why Charlotte was blushing "Please accept it-" he gasped feeling a familiar Ki right on front of them so he turn around "So this is what you up to while I was mourning" She pulled down her hood.

Rosean glared at him but she smiled when Charlotte looked at her, she walked towards them "Rosean this is not what you-" she smiled sweetly and held her hands together "What a great day! wasn't it?" she said at Charlotte, Charlotte noticed the strange way she smiled "Lady Rosean! you're back! we're sorry we're not able to accompany you" Charlotte said, she nodded "That's alright" she sharpened her eyes when she looked back at Yami but she still smiling "Did I ruined your date?" She let out a very strong mana, the vendor at the distance gasped when his stall collapsed while Sol and Finral both got surprised because they literally felt her mana from where they are "Have a great day, alright?" she held Charlotte on the shoulder before she ran away and flew "What's that? is she okay?" Charlotte was so confused "I think I have to talk with her" She looked at Yami and saw how stressed he looked like, like a man that was caught cheating by his wife but she did not ask about it.

Rosean landed at the roof of a establishment then she let the wind blow her cape "That audacity of that man!" she stomped her feet and looked around.

She streching her arms while walking back at the Blackbull's Headquarter "Yo" she waved at them as she entered the house "Captain Yami is not with you?" Magna asked "Huh? of course he's with his girlfriend" the gasped "What!? aren't you his girlfriend?" Asta asked "Just kidding! anyway, where's Yuma?" she asked "His upstairs taking a rest" she nodded and sat on the couch "Captain was out looking for you" Finral said, she took a deep breath "Don't tell anyone about our relationship" Vanessa tilted her head "What? why?" she sat at Rosean's side "Just don't" she leaned her head at the arm rest "Alright we understand" they sense that she feeling down.

Yami arrived and saw her sleeping at the couch "Rosean" he patted her cheek to wake her up but it seems like she's still tired from everything so he gently sat beside her "Captain you arrived! did something happen?" Asta asked, Gauche looked at them so he took a deep breath.
