Chapter 10

Hours past, Rosean and Yuma are still flying below the Silver Eagle of Nozel "Aren't they getting tired?" Yami asked as he looked at the two " They looked marvelous!" Finral said while smiling.

Rosean smiled at Yuma "Hey Yuma, wanna race? I can see a forest down there the first one to go there is the winner!" Yuma chuckles "What's the prize?" he asked, Rosean thought for a while "Hmm I Don't know! haha well, what do you want?" Yuma smiled "Forget it, I'm just kidding" they both laugh.

"Hey" Rosean flew back to Eagle "I think it's better if we take a rest for awhile" Nozel cleared his throat "But we still have a long journey" Rosean nodded "That's why I'm telling you to take a rest first. I Don't want you to exhaust your magic" he smiled "Alright" she smiled and looked on Yami "Were heading down first" she let herself fell again and opened her cape.

Yuma and her, raced down to the forest, she laughed with him "No! cheater!" Yuma complained as she threw him some stick "I ain't cheating!" she laughed and he smiles too, they both landed kneeling "I think we made it at the same time!" Rosean said, Yuma shook his head "You made it first" she raised her eyebrow "Huh?" Yuma laugh "I'm just kidding! I was just checking if you're paying attention" She laughed and slapped his arm gently after awhile, Nozel and the rest are landed too, Yami walked towards Rosean and held her on the waist " Did you enjoy flying?" he asked, she smiled and nodded "Yeah it's been a long time since I did that" he smiled softly to her something that surprised Finral, Charlotte on the other hand feeling jealous but keeping her face straight face.

Rosean, stretching her arms she's standing close to the cliff "Woah! it's so cool!" she said to herself, Nozel was about to approach her but then he stops when Yami stood beside her.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" she asked, Yami nodded and puffed smoke from his cigarette "Absolutely" he smiled and looked down on her "Rosean, why you never untie your hair?" he asked "Hmm? well, when I was a kid I love it when my childhood friend combing it. He is the only one I have, the only boy who admire my long hair" she smiled but deep inside she's sad "Was that Yuma?" she shook her head "No, he is the boy I mentioned to you before" he tried to recalled about that boy and he nodded "The one who left you?" she nodded "Yeah, the one who never return...He is the only person who always there for me before I met Yuma, whenever we have free time we used to ran and escaped from the real world" she chuckles still looking on the distance, he listens silently "Then, whenever he have way he used to bring me along to the ocean...we used to go fishing together..." he gasped, when a familiar memory came to his head and his cigarette dropped from his mouth "And then" Her smiled got tinted by loneliness "Then one day...he accidentally killed his father..." Her tears flow from her eyes, Yami felt a pain struck to his heart "Before that happens, we went to a field full of wonderful flowers there, I promised to him that one day I'll marry him" Sukehiro snapped back to his past and memories flooded his head as he looked at her "But then one day, he went out for fishing and never returned" her tears flow from her eyes.

His hand automatically moved to remove the ribbon of her hair, she gasped and looked on him as the wind blew her glorious obsidian hair, they looked on each other's eyes "I can't believe that after all this years you would still remember a no one like me" he said, she smiled "How can I forget the person who taught me to love?" he caressed her cheek.

Yuma was staring at them "Woah she looks stunning!" Finral commented, Charlotte hid behind a tree as her tears flowing from her eyes, Nozel sighed silently "So that is him" Yuma smiled a little with a hint of sadness on his eyes "Huh?" Finral looked on him "That's why she was too eager to get close to him, he is her long lost childhood lover...that person I could never replace..." He bit his lower lips, Finral felt bad for him "No matter how much I try" His tears fell, Finral caress his back "Yuma-san, if you have feelings for her you should have told her before" he shook his head "No use, she's stuck with her lover" Yuma transforms as eagle and flew to the tree.

Yami hugged Rosean so tight! "I'm sorry, If I didn't recognized you Rosean! you've changed a lot and became stronger!" she sob on his chest "I never thought I will see you again! that's why when I heard that you became a Captain here I already lose hope that one day you'll return! But destiny brought me back to you..." she looked up and smiles at him "You found the gem that you've lost before" she chuckles softly and reached for his face "And I will never lose this gem ever again" they hugged each other again.

Evening came and Rosean shared to everyone about her and Sukehiro's past, Charlotte just listening in silence and Finral nodding his head "I wish everyone was here! for sure they would love to hear about your childhood, Captain!" Yami nodded while smiling "For sure there still a lot to tell them" He said, Rosean lean her head on his shoulder while smiling.

Nozel woke up in the middle of the night, he saw Charlotte still awake and sitting on front of the bonfire, she seems lonely and keep glancing on Yami and Rosean who's already asleep then he saw Yuma staring at him from the tree, he frowned and Yuma flew towards him "You like Rosean" he gasped "What are you saying?" Yuma chuckles and makes sure that it's only the two of them who can hear there conversation "I can read your mind Captain at first, you only interested with Rosean's magic but eventually you fell for her too and just like Captain Roselei you are devastated too" he gasped and turned around "No worries, that's our little secret" he looked back on Yuma but he is no longer around and all he can hear is the wings flapping in the darkness.

Morning he woke up and saw Rosean sitting close to the cliff again with Sukehiro, he hissed a little as he feel bitter because of the two while Charlotte still sleeping leaning on the trunk of a tree, Yuma slept on the top of a tree in eagle form while Finral almost burned himself after he rolled closely to the bonfire well he rolled again away from it.

Sukehiro caressing Rosean's back "I want to return to the Land of The Sun" she looked up on him "You should be, for sure your sister misses you a lot!" he nodded "Then let's get married there like what we promised when we were young" she smiled brightly and her heart feels happy knowing that he still willing to fulfill his promise with her.

After they had breakfast they start their journey again "So, were almost close to the dark forest..." she pointing the map and everyone was looking on it "Yes that's correct, we should get ready" Nozel said, Yami felt something wasn't right "We should be aware of our surroundings" he said as he sharpened his eyes while looking around, Yuma was flying beside them and Rosean smiled at him "Rosean! let's fly!" he shouted, Yami gave him bored look "No, she's staying here!" Yuma rolled his eyes, Charlotte just looked away.

They all gasped as they felt a sudden dark energy coming close to them "Rosean-" she immediately looked on Yuma who suddenly got pulled by a three ropes "No!" she unsheathed her katana and jumps to cut the ropes "Rosean!" Yami was surprised too but another attack happened, someone threw them explosives! Nozel lowered down the flight and saw Rosean fighting with some bandits on the mid air, he backed up her with his Mercury magic while Charlotte back up Yami to defend their eagle, Finral uses his spatial magic to transport the attack to other spaces.

They got ambushed by the bandits.
