Chapter 14

"Hi!" Rosean greeted everyone lively as they came out of the portal that Finral made but she was surprised when they all glared at her "Oy what's happening?" Yami senses the unusual gloomy energy, Finral look at the others "Uhm..." Rosean looked at them "Where is Yuma?" she asked, they all gasped but Finral cleared his throat "H-he was not here" Rosean and Sukehiro looked at each other "Why?" she asked, then she walked towards the door "Rosean! hold on" Yami stopped her "Tell me in full details" Asta nodded "Yesterday, he suddenly asked us if we wanted to train with him" Luck nodded "Then we agreed because we feel like it's a big opportunity"Luck continued "And?" Rosean's heart slowly beat faster "And suddenly he used strong magics to us and almost put us in permanent sleep" she gasped "But Gauche noticed it and was able to rescue us" Yami clenched his fist "And nobody tried to notify us!? why?" he asked, they can feel his mana get stronger "I'll look for Yuma" Rosean brushed his hand away "You're not going anywhere! did you two planned this?" she looked back at Yami "What!? how could you say that!? we're together for the whole night, Sukehiro!" Vanessa stood "But your right hand was here!" Yami shouted "Why are you getting mad at me!? so all this time you're not trusting me!? then you should have told me!" she shouted before she ran towards the door and opened it.

"Yuma!" she called him as she walked outside, Yami followed her "Rosean!" she looked back at him "What!?" she looked up at the sky again "Yuma where are you!?" he grabbed her on the arm "There's no use! you're just wasting your energy!" she glared at him "I want to know what's going on!" she tried to remove his hand but he tightened his grip on him"I will find him by myself" she shook her head "I should be the one who's looking for him!" she still trying to remove his hand from her "Stop being hard headed!" he pushed her behind him, she groaned "What do you think are you doing!?" she pushed him too "Lady Rosean" she turned around and saw Yuma, he was smiling "Yuma! why did you do that!?" she marched towards him, his hair was not tied and when she noticed he is not wearing his cape she stopped few steps from him.

She stares at him for a while, she can feel that there was something off "Why are you not wearing your cape?" he smiled, he only wore his sleeveless top that was being held by straps and it was close neck, he's black jeans being paired with his high knee boots, he smiled and walk towards her "Rosean!" Yami called her but she chose to stay where she is "Yuma, what's happening to you? I thought we have already talked about this?" he chuckles and caressed her cheek "You looked beautiful, I wish I can always tie up your hair like that and also..." he looked at her from head to toe "I love the way you wear your white dress, Rosean" he smiled genuinely at her "Yuma, answer me! why did you attacked the Blackbulls?" he sighs "I thought they can handle that kind of magic" he looked on them and smiled "I Don't know their Squad are kind of sensitive" she frowned but then she felt a strange Ki coming out from him "You are not Yuma-" she gasped.

"ROSEAN!" Yami shouted and ran towards them, Yuma stabbed her and smiled, she kneeled on the ground, Yami shielded Yuma's knife when he was about to stab Rosean again, Luck immediately moved to take Rosean "Wait-" he did not gave her a chance to speak and brought her to the safety.

"Who are you and how did you possessed Yuma?" he laughed evilly "I can't believe I was face you now! the famous Captain foreigner or should I say God of Destruction....Yami Sukehiro!" Yuma laugh like crazy "Annoying! I'll finish you!" Yami position himself "Oh aren't you going to give me time?"Yuma laughed, Rosean watched what Yami was going to do as Vanessa tried to mend her wound "No, wait! Yami don't kill him! Asta, I need your help!" Asta nodded "I understand!" Asta opened his grimoire and took his sword "Captain let me help!" Yami looked back on his as he ran towards them, Yuma smiled and jumped distancing himself to the two.

Rosean watches the fight, Yuma letting out strong attacks and seems like Yami and Asta struggling, she stood "No!" Vanessa immediately held her arms "You Don't understand! I have to help them!" Vanessa shook her head "Lady Rosean it's better if we let Captain and Asta to finish this!" she looked on them and closed her eyes "Yuma" she whispered.

Yuma opens his eyes only to see darkness but he hears Rosean's voice and Flashback starts to flood on his head

FLASHBACK

He flew towards the forest to roam around and check if there was any danger when out of nowhere he was caught by ropes and fell asleep, when he woke up he was laying on the field on the outskirts of the forest.

FLASHBACK ENDS

"No" he realized he was chained "What's going on?" he said to himself.

Meanwhile, Asta found a chance to hit Yuma with his swords, Yuma's soul got unchained "No way!" Yuma roared but Asta backed away! to dodge claw magic from Yuma "Asta there's no use! back away!" Asta went beside Yami "What's your plan Captain?" Yami took a deep breath "We Don't have a choice" Yuma smiled devilishly and waited for Yami's attack, but when Yami did not move he charged towards him "Dark Cloaked Iai Slash!" Yami ready himself to charge towards Yuma but then to his surprise "Crescent Moon slash!" Yuma's eyes widened as Rosean's slash hit him creating huge damage on his left arm to his lower body, Yami stopped when as fast lighting Rosean kicked Yuma on the temple.

Yuma's body landed on a tree and almost lost his consciousness, before he could even move Rosean kicked him again and held the front of his clothes and threw him right on the ground! "Purifying light!" she stabbed Yuma right on the chest! he screams so loud as a blinding light goes out of his chest, Yuma's soul is finally free from the chain and he sees the light from Rosean's magic "Rosean" he follows it...

Rosean pulled her katana, a lot of blood spilled from Yuma's wound but after a while, the dark magic that consumes Yuma and bounded his soul went out, he gasped for air and got up, he kneeled down and cough a lot of blood on ground "Yuma!" Rosean kneeled beside him, he was catching his breath and healed himself as his hands trembled he hugged Rosean before he fell unconscious "Damn!" Rosean finally felt relief, Asta and Sukehiro approached them "Asta bring Yuma on his room" Asta nodded and Luck ran towards Asta and helped him to carry Yuma then Yami pulled up Rosean gently then hugged "I'm sorry" she nodded "Please let me take care of Yuma" he nodded and held her hands "Let's talk after that" she nodded and squeeze his hand.

Rosean wiped her tears as she squeezing Yuma's hand "You Damn! you always have a way to make me worried!" she chuckles softly as she looked on his face "Please wake up! I'm sorry if I have to stabbed you in the heart" She leaned her forehead on the back of his hand "Rosean" Yami went inside Yuma's room and caress her back "He's gonna be alright, I think this is his grimoire" he handed her Yuma's Grimoire "Yes, where did you find it?" Sukehiro put his hands on his pocket "Well, I just found it outside. Probably he dropped it when you kicked him so hard" she nodded and placed the grimoire on the side table "How do you feel now?" he asked "I'm alright" he sat beside her "I'm sorry for accusing you! I just can't control my anger earlier" she nodded "I understand, no worries" he looked at her and she looked absolutely stressed because of what's happening with Yuma "You should take a rest too" he said, she looked at her "No, I Don't want" he sighed "You're always stubborn, you know?" she chuckles and held his hand "Yes and you should know that" she lean her on his arm.
