Chapter 21

Yami was holding her hand while Yuma was taking care of her wound, Yuma stared at her with worries in his eyes "Lady Rosean, it seems like your wound is not healing" he stopped "Oh it's not?" she cleared her throat and let go of Yami's hand then she sat down "Lady Rosean!" Yuma said, she tried to stand and Yami helped her "What are you planning?" he asked, Rosean held her abdomen and tried to heal herself.

Yuma gasped when he saw that it was healed "How?" Rosean smiled, Nozel noticed something odd but he remained silent.

They decided to take a rest for a meantime, Rosean and Sukehiro found a good spot under the a huge tree "Are you sure you're okay now?" Yami asked, they are laying on opposite way so he is using her shoulder as pillow and his shoulder as her pillow "Yeah no worries!" she looked at him and stared at him while smiling "Sukehiro" he smiled and reached for her face "Rosean" she moved closer and planted a small kiss on his lips, Yuma saw it since he was on the top of the tree, he looked away while pouting.

He went down of the tree when the two finally fell asleep then he picked up Rosean in bridal way, he sat under the tree and lay his back on its trunk, he held Rosean on his arms and lay her head on his chest before he sleep.

When Yami woke up he saw the the two sleeping peacefully, he got up and was about to charge to Yuma but when he saw that Rosean was in deep sleep he stopped himself and just walked away.

"Captain where's Yuma and Lady Rosean?" Finral asked, Yami just sat and mumbles to himself, they got confused "Is there something wrong?" Charlotte asked while leaning on the tree "No" Yami looked away while frowning, Asta sat beside him.

Rosean woke up and saw Yuma sleeping and she noticed that he was holding her, she was about to stand but he suddenly opened his eyes, he stare on her eyes and held her closer "Don't move and let me sleep" she frowned "What?" he closed his eyes again, she got confused but just leaned her head on his chest.

After an hour, he woke up and she looked up at him "You're awake?" he nodded and smiled "Thank you" she stood and stretch her arms, he did the same thing "You know, we better keep moving" Yuma took a deep breath "I agree" they walked towards their friends.

Yami glared at Yuma and walked towards Rosean "Hey why did you slept with that bird?" he asked, Yuma smirks secretly "What? I woke up that he's already holding me" Rosean said in confusion "You should at least got woke up when he carried you!" Yami walked past by her, she frowned "What? then you shouldn't have left me alone with him!" everyone was looking at them because of their argument "I Don't think it time to have a fight-" Yuma moved backwards when Yami suddenly swayed his katana on him, he smiled "Sukehiro!" Rosean was surprised too and Nozel picked up his grimoire same as Charlotte ready to stop the two "I was trying to be patient with you, bird but you really have ways to annoy me" Yuma smiled at him "What's wrong? I Don't think I made something to annoy you" he chuckles which made Yami more furious.

Asta and Finral went on their middle, Gauche who's sitting on the tree was a bit surprised too "Can you guys stop it already!? we have important mission to finish!" Nozel shouted but Yami held his sword even more "Yami! stop it right now!" Charlotte shouted, Yuma tilted his head "Captain please you have to calm down!" Finral said, Yami glared at them "Calm down?" Finral trembles and same as Asta but then, Rosean hugged him "Yami Sukehiro!" Yuma gasped he can't believe that Rosean will do this "Please calm down" she said, Yuma clenched his fist and picked up his katana, he shouted and like a mad man he attacked Yami.

Yami grabbed Rosean's waist and shielding Yuma's attack "Why does it always have to be you!?" Yuma shouted, Nozel uses his mercury magic to Shield Yuma's attack and Charlotte captured his katana "What?" his eyes are widened and his mana are getting stronger, Asta opened his grimoire and picked out his sword but Yuma was so strong and managed to get loose from Charlotte and Nozel "Yuma stop!" Rosean shouted, she gasped when Yami threw her up to the air and she saw how Yuma uses his magic but then Asta hit him with his anti-magic sword, Yuma fell to the ground gasping for air and Yami catches Rosean again.

Yuma was tied up by Charlotte's magic and he remained silent, he realized what he have done and willing to accept the consequences of his actions "Yuma" Rosean sat on front of her "I'm sorry, I gone mad and do such thing" His voice cracked, Rosean knows that he really feels sorry "I was blinded by envy and jealousy" Luck approached them "That was an impressive magic! haha you know, it's my dream to fight Captain Yami but now I saw you it feels like I wanna fight you too!" Yuma looked away feel ashamed.

Yami watches Rosean talking with Yuma "His mana and magic are incredibly strong, if Asta wasn't able to stop him he probably able to slash the half of this place" He said as he dragged smoke from his cigarette, Nozel took a deep breath "He almost killed you but it seems like you're still amuse with him?" Finral exclaimed "Why? I'm just stating the fact! his mana alone can kill an enemy" he looked over to Noelle "Finral, bring back Noelle at the Capital stay with her and make sure the two of you will help the others!" Finral nodded "I got it! Noelle come on!" Noelle nodded and walk towards Finral, Nozel wants to stop them but he doesn't want to argue with Yami so he watches as his youngest sibling go with Finral "Uh Captain why did you sent back Noelle?" Asta asked, Yami smirks "I Don't want Mr. Hubris to be distracted during this mission" Nozel heard him and glare at him "Who says I'm worried?" he said and looked away, Charlotte took a deep breath.

Night time, Yuma still tied up and everyone was asleep "Oy birdie" He looked away from Yami "Why in all of the people you're the only one who's awake?" he hissed, Yami laughed "You idiot! I was supposedly the one who was about to attack you but you did it first" Yami looked on him "Tell me, do you wanna join Black Bulls?" Yuma gasped and glared at him "Are you crazy? I just tried to kill you and you want me to join your squad?" Yami smiled "People used to do wrong decisions whenever they are mad. Like you, when I was younger I made a lot of bad decisions" Yuma stared at him and after awhile started to laugh "Huh?" Yami got confused "You think I didn't mean to attack you? you must be kidding me!" Yuma smiled, he somehow reminds Yami of Nacht and he knows he was just trying to mess up with him "If you did you can easily eliminate us or them" Yuma fell into silence and smiled..

Yami noticed he was staring at Rosean who fell asleep hugging Asta like Teddy bear "I'll do everything and anything for her... even if it cost my life in exchange" Yami nodded "Thank you for taking care of her" Yuma nodded "And I will take care of her even if she don't want to" he stood and without effort he managed to destroy the vines tying on him "And regarding to your offer...I Don't think I can accept it. I decided to be her guardian until the end of my life" he jumps and transformed as Eagle "Oy! I'm not accepting rejections! you will be a Black Bulls whether you like it or not!" Yuma transformed as human again and sat on the branch looking down at him while smiling "I'll do it then I'll surpassed you and I will stablish the most strongest squad in the whole Clover Kingdom" Yami laughed "Then what? you want to be a Wizard King as well?" Yuma tilted his head "Probably if you're aiming for that position as well...I'll take everything that's yours" Yami smirks "I'll wait for that day to come" Yuma went back as eagle.

Morning comes, they looked for him but they noticed he flew away "Yuma" Rosean said, she bit her lower lips "That's okay maybe he prefers to travel alone" Nozel said, Asta patted Rosean's back.

As they walking Yami held her hand "Don't worry, maybe he's just around" Rosean smiled "Yeah maybe he is" She leaned on Yami's arms.

Meanwhile, Yuma went back to the Capital and transformed back as human he then stops the beasts that was about to cause trouble, the Purple orcas who's currently waiting for this beasts to arrived was surprised when they no longer felt it's power "Somebody stopped it. Let's report to the Capital!" the magic knight said.

Yuma took a deep breath before he flew again and used his magic to track Rosean's location.
