By the time we arrived to Helen Cho's lab we were too late. Ultron had already been there. Helen was bleeding out on the floor. She was conscious enough to tell us what had happened. I tried to put pressure on her wound. With a glance Steve was able to pick up what I was telling him to do. He had to go.
"Natasha, Clint, we have to go." He hastened speeding out of the facility. I stayed with Helen to try and help her.
"I need to call for medics," I told her keeping my hands over her wound. In a haze she nodded. I grabbed my phone and called for an ambulance.
"Help me, help me up." She requested out of breath.
Grabbing part of her uniform and ripping it, I shook my head no. "That's not a good idea." I made a makeshift bandage around her.
"Onto the table. I can–I can use a machine." She explained swallowing. Her eyes were closed, I assumed because she was getting dizzy from the blood loss.
"The medics are coming any minute now. You just have to hold on." I told her trying to stop the bleeding.
"Cap is taking on Ultron." Clint informed me using our ear pieces.
"What do you mean? Alone?"
"Yeah,"
"Are you serious?"
"Dead." I let out a string of cuss words. Steve was no match for Ultron what was he trying to do? Kids, never marry someone as crazy as you are, it'll drive you insane.
Turning my attention back to Helen, I patted her on her cheek. "Come on open those eyes." I ordered her. She slowly did, and I could tell she was blacking out. I wiped some of the sweat off of her. By now I could hear the ambulance arriving. I sighed in relief.
"The ambulance is here." I announced. She grunted in reply.
As soon as she was secured in the hands of the medics I rushed out of the laboratory and got on my quinjet.
"What's going on?" I asked hoping for something good from Clint.
"Natasha is after the cradle, and Cap's keeping Ultron busy. Whoa!"
"What!"
"They just crashed into a train!" Clint exclaimed. Scanning the ground below, I was able to find the train Clint was talking about. It was like a subway train with plenty off passengers. I quickly followed it.
I was watching the train looking for an unlikely shot of Ultron when something caught my eye. The semi with the cradle was being lifted in the air.
"Clint are you seeing this?"
"Package is airborne. I've got a clear shot."
"Negative, I an still in the truck." Natasha hissed. This was not going well at all.
"What the hell are you doing?"
"Just be ready. I'm sending the package to you."
"How do you want me to take it?"
"Uh, you might have wished you hadn't asked that." Natasha replied. Soon Ultron flew out of the train. I fired the plane's guns at him hoping to get his attention. It didn't work.
"Ultron's coming, so whatever you're doing do it now." I told Natasha. I watched as the train kept going. It wasn't slowing down towards the end of it's track.
"Nat! Does anyone see Nat!" Clint yelled. I quickly surveyed the sky for someone falling. I didn't see anyone. I was too preoccupied with the run away train. How was I going to stop it?
