"I'm glad you came Nick." I admitted approaching him at the controls of the Helicarrier. He was directing our return to the United States. I had just finished getting treated by the medical team. Luckily, I came out relatively unscathed.

"Sure saved your asses back there." He smiled, his hands held behind his back.

"You sure did." I agreed staring in front of us at the blue sky.

"Sometimes I wonder if you can see into the future." He confessed glancing at me.

"And why is that?"

"Somehow you knew we'd be needing this. I don't know how. You've always had a weird way of knowing things."

"I'm just lucky at guessing, predicting. I certainly can't tell the future, and I definitely don't know everything."

"It's good to see you back like this. I heard recovery was a tough process." Nick put a hand on my shoulder squeezing a little before dropping it.

"It still is. Everyday I'm trying."

A beat of silence went by before he announced, "I've got a little present for you from Coulson. Although he said you're not obligated to accept it."

I turned a little to face Fury. He went back to a desk to retrieve the "gift". He came back with a box. He handed it to me and I curiously opened it up.

"A watch?" I muttered confused as I took the watch out of the box. It was one of those smart watches.

"He's putting together a team of Inhumans. He wants you to be on it. This is supposed to alert you when they need help." Fury explained as I examined the watch some more.

"It has a tracker on it."

"It's so they can find you if you're in trouble." I raised an eyebrow at Fury who put his hands up. Call me paranoid, but I didn't like to have tracking devices on me.

"What else does it measure?" I quizzed, scrolling through the watch's apps.

"I think it's calibrated to your body specifically. Apparently each Inhuman has different vitals, and this watch will help measure yours to make sure you're okay. And if you're not, they'll come for you."

"What kind of team is Coulson thinking of? Who's leading?"

"Daisy is in charge. SHIELD is trying to build up relations with the other Inhumans before someone else does."

Sighing I put the watch on. Might as well join the cause instead of ignoring it. Silence doesn't save. I guess I was part of a new team now. "You think I'm safe having this tracking my every move?" I asked Fury.

"In fact, you might be safer. Inhumans are the new frontier when it comes to enhanced individuals."

"Great." I groaned, "Because I'm low on threats." I finished talking to Fury and journeyed back to the med bay in hope Steve was done. He, of course, was one of the last on board to get help.

I found him sitting an examining table alone looking depressed and bored out of his mind. "Whatcha waiting for?" I asked, catching his attention. He glanced up, and his eyes slid up to mine. Approaching him, I draped my arms around his bare shoulders. After kissing him, I ran my hand through his matted hair.
