Levy isn't here! I fling myself into the room and look around. Where could she be?! I spy her wet clothes on the floor, bag open, and nother appears to have been touched otherwise.
No one could have gotten in. The windows and doors are locked and I would be able to smell them. I also would gave heard the door open and close. I spin around once more, before I notice a small lump on my bed.
Huddled under my covers is the cowering Solid Script mage. I can see her shaking and hear her cry as the thunder roars on.
"She hates storms even more than Lily," I say in my mind. Levy jumps at the latest "Boom!" and shrinks further into herself.
"Oh, Gajeel. When are you going to be out of that dang bathroom?" Levy asks, clearly talking to her self. I slowly sit down on the right side of the bed, so that her back is to me.
Levy tenses up as I put my hand on her arm. I begin to rub her arm to help aliviate some of her fear.
"You ok there, Shrimp?" I ask her. I see her head shake under the sheets.
"Afraid of the storm?" She pauses, then nods.
"You coming out?" Levy shakes her head again. I decide that I only have one course of action to take. I pull the blanket off her a little and scoot myself in. She's hesitant, but eventually pokes her head out. She's blushing and her skin is warm. Her hair is wet, making a damp spot on the bedspread.
I wrap my arms around her and lay with her. Levy curls up next to me, with her hand on my chest and her head on my shoulder. I'm not much for the mushy love stuff, but this is nice.

I wait for Levy to fall asleep and head over to the couch. It's small, but not that bad. I eventually find some sleep and drift off. I wake up early in the morning, the sun just barely on the horizon.
Levy is still in the bed, so I rest my arm over my eyes and go back to sleep. I dream of my old days at Phantom Lord. The horrible atrocities I committed and the lives I ruined. They still find ways to haunt me. The deamons of my past refusing to let me go.
Levy
When I open my eyes, I'm in still in the bed and Gajeel in snoring on the couch.
"Wait a minute. I thought he was..." My thouhts cause me to blush at the idea of me and Gajeel sleeping together on our first night, but, as I see it, since Gajeel is on the couch, he thought better of it.
The sun is creeping through the blinds, so I crack them open. Gajeel has an arm over his eyes anyways. He snores like a bear, but looks rather peaceful in his sleep.I need to take a shower, so I hustle to the bathroom. The only thing is, I don't check to make sure that there are towels in there.
Gajeel
The bed is empty and the shower is running. Levy is probably in getting ready for the rest of our mission. I can also hear a sweet, melodic song coming from the bathroom.
"Wow! I should have her sing backup for me at my next performance." Then, the water stops and I hear Levy's feet pad towards the door. I quickly throw myself on the couch and pretend to be asleep.
"Gajeel?" Levy asks, "Are you awake?" I don't answer and continue to fake sleep. Levy walks out and opens a closet by the bed. I sit up, pretending to just be waking and get the surprise of my life.
Levy is stark nude and still wet from the shower. I can feel the warm, wet nosebleed as I fall off the couch for the second time. I hear her gasp as she runs back to the bathroom with towels and clothes.
"Wha..." I couldn't even form a sentence. "Lev..." I clamp down on my gushing nose and put a tissue in to stop it. I wipe off the rest of the blood and sit on the couch, waiting for Levy.
Levy walks out in a yellow dress and matching headband. She won't look at me, but isn't mad. She is very awkward and nervous. Her cheeks are flushed red and she keeps a couple of feet between us.
"Sorry about this morning," I say as we sit in the magic mobile on our way back to the castle. "I really shouldn't have looked."
I lean towards the bluenette and whisper in her ear, a bit more seductive than I had intended, "And, between you and me, that nosebleed was the biggest I've ever had." She turns crimson and stares straight ahead.
We arrive and get back to work clearing out people. There aren't many places to check anyway.

Levy and I are scanning our last room. Storage. Boxes of bad supplies. Dust and cobwebs on most of it. A pile of old booze bottles in the corner. Some of them probably mine.
I pop open a crate and find a stash of booze that I had most likely put there. I pull one out and drink it. It's still good.
I give one to Levy saying, "Here. Bit of a reward for our work. Can't steal something from yourself and that no one is going to miss." She cautiously takes it, but hesitates. She's pry remembering the last time she was drunk.
Levy takes a drink of it and ends up finishing it. We enjoy
A few more, until Levy is a giggly lunatic and I'm tripping over myself. I used to be drunk like this all the time. Lately,... not so much. I put a few more bottles in my pack and we leave. We are driven home in the provided magic mobile and stumble, first, to the elevator, then, to our room. Where I plop down on the couch and Levy goes to change. Or so I believe.
