Gajeel stares at me as I look, amazed, across the valley. I thought that it was funny when he blushed earlier. He was completely red and had this hypnotized look in his eye.

"I wonder what he was thinking about. He was probably embarrassed by the thought of being seen with someone acting so childish." I pretend not to be thinking about it, but I know that he doesn't really have strong feelings for me. He just cares. Me on the other hand, I love him.

I lean slightly over the fence, my arms extended and on my toes, as I watch the sun setting over the hills. Gajeel stands to my right and leans on the fence next to me. He has his arms crossed and balances on his elbows. I copy him and lean my head on his bicep.

Gajeel glances down. "What do ya think? Told it was great," he says with a smirk.

"It really is. I love it here, Gajeel. Thank you," I respond, softly. I look up at him and smile.

"No problem, Shrimp," Gajeel mumbles, looking out at the hills with me. I like the feeling of his skin on mine. It's a bit rough, but not completely. I'm going to miss that feeling when we return home and I have to pretend to be angry with him.

"What are we even going to tell them happened between us?" I wonder. "Maybe when he saw me naked or because he got me drunk on a job?"

Gajeel interrupts, "I know what you're thinking about. Tomorrow. What we're gonna tell the guild." He says it so casually, like it's just something normal to say. I take my head off of his arm to look at him.

"I have an idea," he continues, "but you're gonna have to trust me, close your eyes, and I can only hope that it doesn't really work as just a cover story." I give him a suspicious look, but shrug and close my eyes.

"What are you pla-?" I am cut off as Gajeel's rough lips meet mine. My eyes fly open as I blush more red than Erza's hair. My stomach gets tied in knots, but somehow the butterflies in it can still flap their wings.

Gajeel separates himself from me, blushing as well. I stand, frozen in shock, as Gajeel stares on.

"Ya think that will make a good story to tell?" asks Gajeel. I still don't move. He waves his hand in front of my face. Then, he shakes me. Lastly, he proceeds to smack himself in the face for his 'dumb idea', forgetting his other hand on my shoulder.

I manage to shake myself out of my stupor and try to get out a coherent thought.

"Y-y-yeah, Th-that m-might work... but I was thinking we'd just use the drunk story," I stutter, calming the blush in my face. "He kissed me! Oh, my gosh! What am I going to tell Lu-chan? Does Gajeel actually like me?"

"Was it that bad?" Gajeel asks.

"No! It was... I mean it was... unexpected. But, in a good way!" I sigh to calm my nerves. "It was nice." I place my hand on his. I reach up and cup his face, pulling his face back to mine.

I kiss him on the cheek and whisper, "I'm the one trying to apologize to you, bad boy." I lean back and look at him at face level.

"So, you're serious about this? You would do anything to apologize?" A smile creeps over Gajeel's lips. I agree with him, but I know he has something in mind. Why did I have to be so apologetic!

Gajeel widens his smile and I see a flash of red in his eyes. I step back and feel the fence bump against me. Gajeel leans on the fence, blocking any ecsape attempts. His face is only inches from mine. He leans to the right and brings up his hand to hold my chin. I open my mouth to object, but he takes it at a sign to attack.

Gajeel kisses me hard and my knees go weak. I grip the rail to keep from falling. He notices and wraps his arm around my waist. My body feels like pure energy.

I don't know how, but my hands find themselves releasing the rail. Maybe, because they're hooking behind his head. I press against Gajeel and kiss him back. The ecstasy is filling me to the breaking point.

Gajeel

With her arms around me, Levy kisses me with a passion. I only get split seconds to catch my breath, before one of us closes the gap. I had imagined how it would feel, but imagination didn't come close. Her lips are so soft and she tastes like peaches and vanilla ice cream. I feel my instincts being unleashed.

I advance upon her limits. My teeth bite down, lightly, on her bottom lip, giving us a chance to breathe normally for a moment. It's more like panting, actually. It also gives me a chance go look at her. She's blushing a little.

We resume our activity, but I still want to see how far it goes. I lick Levy's bottom lip to make sure she's ok with it. She flinches a little, but doesn't pull away.

With her permission, I begin to sneak my toungue into Levy's mouth. I reach her teeth and she catches me, before I can get too far. I can feel her shake her head. I retreat and we continue kissing into the night.

The sun had set well before we made our way back to the hotel. The streets were basically empty and no one looked at us when we left the look out. Good thing, too. Everyone in this town knows what goes on up there and it sure as hell isn't sightseeing.

Levy and I cuddle on the bed, while she reads me Romeo and Juliet. It's actually a pretty cool story. It's not just romance. It also has fights, death, and sacrifice. The ending was a bust, though. If Romeo had only spent a few more minutes to look at her or noticed certain indications, they could have run away together.

We fall asleep together. Levy's arms tucked against her chest and her head laid on the pillow. I kiss her forehead and close my eyes.
