Chapter 21

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING?!" My eyes snap open and I tumble off of Gajeel. I spin to look at my door and feel the urge to run at the sight of Mira. She's standing in the doorway, halfway to Satan Soul.

"Mira, I can explain. I know he can be here, but-" She cuts me off with the flick of her hand. By now, Gajeel is sitting on the couch, pale as a ghost.

"Not only that; this isn't the first time. I'm guessing, you've done this before?" Mira rants. "And you never told me. I missed your first kiss and everything else I got to do with the Nalu Army and Gruvia Navy. The Gale Marines were actually about to get planning. First date, first dance, first time you guy had s-" That is where I draw the line.

"You have not missed that one!" I interject. She looks confused and a bit shocked. "We may have thought about it, but I'm still a virgin, Mira. Besides, we don't want you watching us do that. "

"Never the less. Gajeel, get out. And Levy, if you are hiding anything else, like this, I'm letting Erza punch you first." Mira walks way in an eerily calm fashion. Gajeel and I simultaneously shudder. Mira can be scary as Hell, sometimes.

"She's right. I had better go," says Gajeel, pointing at the window. I don't want him to go. I want to stay with him until he has to leave and we still have a few hours before I'm going to Lucy's.

"Alright. I'm coming with you, though. I'm not wasting time before your trip." I run off to change into some normal cloths. I crawl onto his back and he crawls out of my window. We take the back way out and stick to alleyways to get back to Gajeel's. I can see a lot of people with the latest magazine in hand. In all honestly, I'm glad it's out, but I'm angry it came out this.

Gajeel sighs. "Sorry, Shrimp. Thinking it through, I can't stay until the morning. The sooner we get rid of those punks that are after ya, the better." This comment starts a battle of reason and wit. Gajeel wins with an argument of 'they could kill me." Fair point.

Time skip: 4 hours

I take a deep breath and knock on Lucy's door. She opens it, but I'm not greeted with the usual smile and warm hug. She swings the door wider and motions for me to enter. There's a group of girls from Fairy Tail in her living room. Mira, Erza, Wendy(thank Mavis), Cana, Juvia, and, of course, Lucy. Most of them are decidedly upset with Gajeel and me. I sit in a love seat that was obviously designated for me.

"Alright, Levy. Spill it. And if you tell us one lie, Erza has first punch," Lucy hisses. I take a deep breath, taking time to look at all of them.

"I guess it started on the day we met. The day Gajeel joined the guild. I saw him staring and introduced myself. We both seemed to have dark parts in our pasts. I guess I felt sorry for him, at first. Then, we went on the mission in Rubystacia and I saw how he was with Juniper. For monthes, we were just friends, going on jobs and stuff. It was nice. But, things change.

"On the day I was attacked by that dark guild, Gajeel saved me. He helped me get back to Fairy Hills and get bandaged up. He was looking to go on a mission. The next day, he asked me out. He took me to the lake, were he had taped a note to the dock asking me to be his girlfriend and I said yes." I laughed, remembering that day. I still have that rose he gave me, in my bedside table.

I continue. "After that, we went on a job in Oak Town; cleaning out the the old Phantom Lord castle. That's when I saw his old room. He hated that part of himself. It's why Master took him in. So that he wouldn't go back to being a criminal. We finished our job and did some sightseeing. Gajeel took me to Valley Lookout and we uh... kinda, sorta, made out for a while.

"We have been dating since. Well, except after the attack on Jet and Droy. We didn't see each other for a while, after that. We only started talking gain, after he finished a book and got me alone, in the library."

"And that's it? You've kissed and been sneaking around for almost three years? What's with that? Don't you trust us to be happy for you?" Cana barks.

"Of course I trust you!" I exclaim. "We were going to tell you, but things kept getting in the way. The attacks, missions, Juvia and Gray's wedding. Things we couldn't take away from. After a while, it got to the point where it was too late. We never wanted this to happen like it did. I have wanted to tell you for so long."

"She's right. She talked with me about it, a little, this morning when I stopped by," Wendy attested.

"But you and Gajeel haven't slept together yet?" Juvia asks. I raise an eyebrow, but immediately understand what she means.

"W-well, we, uh, we do sleepovers and naps, but n-not sex," I reply. Juvia snorts out a laugh. "What?"

"Nothing. Just, back in Phantom Lord, he was literally with every girl he took a liking to," snickers Juvia. Then, she gets serious. "Though, he was never with anyone this long. Has he ever mentioned anything ? Juvia heard that Dragon Slayers inherit almost every instinct from dragons." We all look at Lucy and Mira, for confirmation. Mira has been dating Laxus for about a year.

Mira says, "Yeah. Laxus got really clingy and possessive."

"Same with Natsu, but he also said that my scent was stronger and more pleasant than others." I shake my head and tell them that he hasn't said anything. They shrug. They come to peace with Gajeel and me and we're all friends again.

At quarter to eleven, the girls that live at Fairy Hills, walk me part of the way home, but I turn off and head to Gajeel's, instead. I get some well deserved encouragement and something slipped into my back pocket by Cana. She gives me two pills, besides.

"Trust me. You'll need this in the morning," she explains pointing to an oblong orange pill, "for your body aches. The other is in case the rubber fails." The indicates the round, white pill and my pocket.

"Great. Now, I have to deal with this. I mean, he already left for the council. I don't think I'll be able to stand these next few weeks," I mutter to myself, slinking off to my boyfriend's house. I need to grab the headband I left there.
