I walk through the open doors of the castle walls. There can't  be any fighters left inside the walls. No one, except Jose. I start running through the the halls, as soon as I bash in the door. I take time to gather a few supplies that I had forgotten to bring for Levy. While searching through rooms, I find some bread, water, and I take some of the metal from some of the unused weapons.

"LEVY!" I call. "WHERE ARE YOU?!" I hear something. I hear a weak squeaking noise. It sounds like my name. I listen to it. I know that voice and I run. I run to find my girl. My Levy. I run and follow the sound of my name. I lose it and find it again. I'm out of breath, panting as my boots slam against the stone floors. I'm completely lost, but follow her voice.

I am finally let out into a large hall. There are several doors, all wooden. I can't hear Levy anymore. I start breaking down the doors. I kick and scramble from one to the next. After the first seven and nothing, I am furious.

There are so few left and I miss my girl. With a roar, I break down another. There, in the darkness, clothes ripped and huddled on the floor, is Levy McGarden, barely conscious.

Levy

I'm so cold. The floor is nothing but straw and stone. After last night, I've felt weak and I wish I could tear that part of myself away. I couldn't sleep. I threw up and cried, silently. Jose had sent in one of his mindless slaves in to clean up. My stomach and head are aching. I'm trying to stay awake. I know with every part of my self being that Gajeel is coming for me.

"LEVY! where are you?!" I hear it. It's far off, but know that it's Gajeel. He's angry and sad. I try to call out to him. My voice is barely a whisper. I call again, louder. I can only manage a raspy yell that's pry no louder than if I were talking, but I know he's going to find me. He has to.

I manage to call for him one last time, after many minutes. I can hear banging and crashing from all directions. I hear my dragon roar. I watch as my door bursts into pieces. I force my eyes to stay open as I watch a shadow appear in the doorway. I smile, but I start slipping in and out.

Gajeel

"Levy!" I run as fast I can to her side and cradle her in my arms. Her eyes are fluttering; fighting to stay open. She has bruises and scratches and looks exhausted. I shake her a little, trying to make her stay awake long enough to at least drink the water. She smiles, when she finally opens her eyes for longer than a second.

"Gajeel... I knew that you were coming..." she whispers. She raises her hand and feels for my face. I guide her to it and rest my hand on top of hers.

"Yeah, Shrimp. I'm here. Here. I brought some food and water. You need to eat," I inform Levy. Tentatively, she raises her head and I help her take a sip of water and her hand slips from my face. I can hear the battle still raging outside. There are explosions, gunshots, and people screaming. I still need to get Levy out of this place and find Jose.

"What happened to you? I swear if that bastard beat you, too, I'll kill him," I swear. Tears come to Levy's eyes and she starts to cry. I hold her tightly and rest my chin on the top of her head as she cuddles into my chest.

"They-they didn't just b-b-beat me, Gajeel. They did unspeakable things, Gajeel! The men from the ally." Levy cries. I close my eyes and rock her.

"I know. I'm here now. I... I killed 'em. They're gone," I state. I look down at the blood drying on my arms. "I killed those people. I killed again."

"Gajeel,... I don't want this baby. I don't want it. Not when there's a chance it isn't yours," Levy says into my chest. I open my eyes and look at her. She's in shock and has been through so much. I touch my forehead to hers and tell her that everything will be ok. As she calms down, I listen for the battle. I don't hear much, anymore.

I start carrying Levy out of the cell. She mumbles as I let her sleep, but I keep a close ear to her heartbeat. It's slow, but still strong. Even so, she needs to get to Wendy immediately. I carry her bridal style and am about to start my escape, when a voice chimes in in a sickly hissing voice.

"Are you leaving soon, my boy? Or are you scared to fight me?" Jose taunts. He is standing across the room in his florid shade of purple. I face him and hold Levy tighter against my body. I won't let him hurt her again. That's when I hear the footsteps coming down the hall. Running up behind me.
