Reality catches up to Gajeel; realizing that he couldn't be too rough while we are at the guildhall, or around anyone at all. He scoops me up and sets me on a table. I kiss him softly as he turns his attention back to my lips.
Gajeel squeezes his hips against my knees and I know he wants to go there. I blush, furiously, apprehensive, but I slowly move my legs to the sides and he moves in. My scrunched dress helps protect my virginity, but I know he wants me. I want him, too, but not here. Not now.
I do grab the bottom of his shirt, though. I lift it a bit aaaaand... *wiggle, wiggle* The door to the library is about to be opened.
"Shit!!!" exclaims Gajeel. I blush and start to freak out. I hop off the table and pretend to be looking around, just in time, before Mirajane walks in. I keep looking through the section in front of me. Romance. Crap! Mira looks from one of us to the other and settles on Gajeel.
"What are you two doing in here?" asks Mira, suggestively. I turn my head to say something, but Gajeel picks up the pieces, before I fumble to make an excuse.
"I wanted to find a book. I didn't know what to read, so I asked Shrimp for an opinion. She's read all of the book in here, so she'd know what's good." Gajeel says it so nonchalantly that I am speechless. He says it like it's the truth. "You found anything yet, Shrimp? I can't wait around all day."
I grab one of my favorite books off the shelf. It has love, but it also has suspense and action. Along with a bookworm for a heroin and the town favorite is cast down. It's a classic and teaches wonderful lessons.
"Here. You should be familiar with the title. Learn to be a tad bit more interested in good literature." I hand him the copy of Beauty and the Beast, pretending to be angry with him. I flip some of my hair over my neck, to hide the hicky he gave me, and walk out. Mira trails close behing me.
"What happened that made you so angry with Gajeel?" Mira asks as we arrive at the bar. I sit down, she moves behind it, and hands me a soda. I tell her the drunk story. How I played into it more than I should have and how nothing happened between Gajeel and I that night.

It's late when I leave the guildhall. Jet and Droy left hours ago. I walk home to Fairy Hills with a new book from the library tucked under my arm. I open the main door and walk up to my apartment, unlock the door, and step in. I revel in the quiet of it all. No fights. No drinking. No wild parties.
I sit down on my couch and read. It's a good book. It's about the land of Edolas. How they have been getting along without the aid of magic. The have made astounding strides in technology and science.
As soon as I am immersed in the book, a soft tapping on my window calls my attention. I slap the book shut and set it down. I don't want Gajeel around at the moment. I wasn't amused by his antics today. I stomp over to the window and yell.
"Go home. I'm not in the mood." But it's not Gajeel's voice who returns with a 'what?'. It's Natsu. He was the one throwing rocks. I ask him what he is up to and he says he needs to ask me something. I sigh and invite him in. He scales the wall like a vulcan and hops through my window.
"Levy, this is going to sound crazy. I think our best friend is poisoning me," says the dragon slayer. He's indicating that Lucy is the one inflicting symptoms of blushing, upset stomach, sweaty hands, and increased heart beat.
"You really are dense," I mumble, shaking my head. "She isn't poisoning you and it's not a disease." Natsu stares, blankly, at me. "What is going on is simple... You are experiencing the big L word.
"LUCY'S A LESBIAN?!" Natsu exclaims. I pick up my book and smack him with it. He holds his head and gives me a hurt look.
"No, you idiot. You liiiiiiiike her," I tell him. "And I'm not joking about this. Just tell her, but make it subtle and don't go announcing it to the whole guild. She would like it if it was just you two being seen as a couple." Natsu takes my message to heart and thanks me. He hops back out the window.
I sit back down on my couch and continue to read. I don't want to pull my nose out of it. I check the clock. 9:28 PM. A good amount of time to get in a few more chapters.

I haven't set my book down since Natsu's intrusion. I don't even know what time it is or how long I have been reading. I don't even know my door is open, until a familiar pair of arms drape over the couch and across my chest.
"It's two in the morning. You need to sleep," Gajeel whispers in my ear. I lay my head his arm and ignore him. "Sorry, but you also need a bath, Shrimp." I don't even comprehend his words, until we're in the bathroom and Gajeel is undressing me.
Gajeel helps me in, but doesn't get in, himself. He sits on the side and shampoos my hair. His rough hands are surprisingly gentle. He leaves for me to wash up the rest, then returns to help me out. We blush at him seeing me naked, again.
Gajeel walks out, after my pajamas are on, and I dry my hair. I am very tired and have trouble not falling asleep. I drag my feet over to the couch, once I am finished, and instantly fall asleep in Gajeel's lap. My head on his chest, listening to his heart.
Gajeel
Levy falls asleep on me and I don't exactly know what to do. She looks so peaceful and I'm kind of afraid to wake her if I move. My little bookworm looks so peaceful. But, I can't stay on her couch all night. I need to get home to my own bed. Plus, I can't have someone barging in and seeing us. I'm not even supposed to be at Fairy Hills. I was only able to get into her room, because I stole a key.
I hold her lightly and carefully get up. I make it to the bed and set her down, without incident. I make my way out of her apartment and back home. I wish I could have stayed, but... things are just too complicated.
