As i heard her, i realised I have lost her.
" yeah, i don't, i don't have any rights, I am sorry "
Her voice was shaking when she asked
" why didn't you ever tried to contact me?"
" I didn't have the courage to do that but why didn't you tried to contact me" I asked her.
We missed each other really badly, Our eyes were telling the truth more than our words, but it can't change the fact that I have hurt her.
" you didn't leave any reason for me to call you " she said as she was full of resentment. " But what about you ?, you also never replied to any of my voice messages ? " she asked
" what voice messages ?? " i asked her
" I sent you voice messages, everyday for months but you...you didn't even saw them " she said as her eyes were teary.
" tara, i didn't get any of your messages " i told her " I lost my phone somewhere so i got a new number " i explained her.
She wiped her tears and asked in a loud voice " then why didn't you call me after getting new number, why didn't you tried to fix everything, why didn't you told me the things you were going through?? Why aditya?? "
As she was asking me this her voice was breaking.
" i called but you never answered, and you also didn't told me the things you were going through " I said
" because I didn't wanted to bother you " she yelled.
" just leave it, there's no point in talking about the past, i just want to tell you clearly that, I don't want our past to affect my sister's wedding. We can't stay all awkward with eachother it would be better to stay as a friend, i want to enjoy these days, i don't want to think about past. But if you don't want to be friends that's okay " she said while brushing off every conversation.
I also don't want to fight with her,
I was staring at her, i said while tugging her hairs behind her ears "you changed a lot, your hair, your eyes got more beautiful...you become more beautiful."
She looked at me " did i?? well you also changed a lot, your life also got changed a lot" she said as sarcasm
I sat near the pool, she also sat near me in anger,
"yeah, I am a singer now...have you heard my songs " I asked her
She looked at me and said
" I heard every song of yours...they were beautiful...I saw your movies, you are a great actor also...I am happy for you" she said while faking a smile.
"you are also a doctor, your dream come true " i said
" yeah, aditya can't we stay friends, I don't want to lose you, this silence between us scares me, and we don't know maybe we can stay as good friends " she said
" we can't be friends " i said with a low voice, my smile was fading.
" ok then I should leave, bye..."
She turned and was about to leave, I grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to me and hugged her tightly.
As i hugged her, it felt like my dead heart again started to beat.
