Chapter three ♡

Taehyung slowly opened his eyes and found himself face-to-face with a curious boy gazing at him.

He quickly sat up, causing the boy to scoot back a bit, giving him some space.

"Sorry, didn't mean to startle you. Please don't be afraid of me," Jungkook said to the boy, his voice filled with reassurance.

"Where are those big ol' ghosts?" Taehyung asked,

He gulped as he remembered the humongous ghost before passing out, his heart pounding in fear.

"Nah, they weren't ghosts, they were guards," Jungkook chuckled, clearly amused by the situation. He also was impressed by the deep voice of the boy.

"Where am I? You a commoner or something? How far's the palace from here?" Taehyung asked, his eyes still half closed.

"I'm not a commoner , Anyway, you're already in the palace," Jungkook said, with a smile.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Taehyung asked, sounding confused.

"Yeah, you're in the palace, Welcome to Garland," Jungkook said with a playful tone.

Taehyung's eyes went wide as he looked at the boy, realizing he wasn't human.

Oh my god, he's the winged creature Taehyung always wanted to see.

He's got these amazing wings, and he's stunning himself! But seriously, what the heck is he doing in Garland?

Yeah, he's really into fairies and wanted to see them, but he didn't want to come to the kingdom of his rivals. And that too in the palace! what the heck is he doing in the Palace?

Taehyung crawled away from Jungkook, distancing himself from him.

"Who....who are you?" Taehyung stuttered, feeling a desire to cry. He wanted his hyung, his appa.

Jungkook's heart couldn't help but soften as he witnessed the boy's heartbreaking expressions.

"Hey there human, don't worry. I'm actually a friendly creature, a male Fair," Jungkook reassured in the most comforting tone he could muster.

"Alright, Tae, no need to be scared. He's actually a fairy," Taehyung whispered to himself, trying to calm his nerves.

"Why am I in a palace? You're not gonna kill me, right?" Tae asked nervously, and the winged creature let out a chuckle.

"Don't worry, we don't harm innocent beings, even if they're human. You're in the palace because it's where I live. I'm Prince Kim Jungkook," Jungkook explained, extending his hand for a handshake. However, Taehyung hesitated for a moment.

"Alright, no problem. Don't worry, there's nothing to be afraid of. How about taking a bath to calm yourself down? Oh, and I also grabbed some clothes for you from the capital," Jungkook suggested. He walked over to the couch in his room and handed the clothes to Taehyung.

Taehyung cautiously accepted the clothes from him, taking them with a slight nod.

"Here's the bathroom, right this way," Jungkook said, gesturing towards a door in his room.

Taehyung climbed out of the warm and cozy bed and made his way to the bathroom.

The clothes Jungkook handed to him were way too big. The cream-colored shirt reached down to his knees, and the sleeves were also long. However, the pants surprisingly fit him perfectly. He stepped out of the room and looked around, but the creature was nowhere to be seen.

"Ohh, you look adorable," Jungkook exclaimed as he appeared in front of him from above.

Taehyung got a big fright and almost lost his balance, but luckily the winged creature caught him just in time.
