Six days have went by since Jin first opened his eyes to consciousness.
Remarkably, he has progressed to the point where he can now sit with ease and even manage to eat independently.
During this time, his father paid him a visit, marking a significant moment in his recovery.
As Jin found himself confined to his room, he grew restless, yearning for a change of scenery.
With Namjoon occupied in the shower and the rest presumably asleep, a desire to venture outside stirred within him.
The incessant sleep that dominated his days left him wide awake, craving the outdoors.
Upon Namjoon's emergence from the bathroom, Jin seized the opportunity to break the monotony. "Namjoon, could you please take me to the lake?" he requested.
Concern laced Namjoon's response as he inquired, "Are you sure?"
"Yes, it's been a week since I last left this room," Jin affirmed.
"Sure," Namjoon agreed, flashing a reassuring smile.
He approached Jin, effortlessly lifting him in a bridal embrace, and together, they gracefully exited through the window, taking flight.
Upon reaching the lake, Jin breathed in the crisp air, a sense of refreshment washing over him.
Namjoon gently landed on the soft grass, seating himself with Jin in his lap.
"It's chilly." Jin rested his head on Namjoon's chest, prompting Namjoon to encircle him with his wings, creating a cocoon of warmth.
"Feeling better?" Namjoon inquired.
"I always feel better when I'm with you," Jin responded, tracing Namjoon's dimples with his fingers.
Expressing the depth of his longing, Jin confessed, "I missed you a lot when I was away."
Namjoon reciprocated, "You can't even imagine how much I missed you," sealing the sentiment with a tender peck on Jin's forehead.
"When did I fall so deeply in love with you?" Jin inquired, prompting a chuckle from Namjoon at his question.
"Probably when I playfully sucked the chocolate from your lips," Namjoon replied with humor, eliciting a giggle from Jin.
"You weren't shy then, but you acted all bashful when I asked for help with the shower," Jin teased, chuckling himself.
"Alright, stop teasing me; I don't want to make you uncomfortable," Namjoon pouted, prompting even more laughter from Jin.
"Namjoon, how did you fall in love with me?" Jin asked, his curiosity evident.
"I don't know. When I first laid eyes on you, I was captivated by your beauty. Maybe it was when I tasted the hot chocolate you made, or dare I say, when I tasted your lips, which were sweeter than the hot chocolate," Namjoon smirked, causing Jin to bury his face in Namjoon's chest in embarrassment.
"Stop," Jin mumbled.
"Or maybe it was when you kissed my cheek, or when you spoke with the officials, or even when you accidentally fell on me. I can't pinpoint exactly when I fell in love with you, but the first time I saw you, as the guard was about to step on you, I felt my world come to a halt. I sensed a connection with you; I think you're my soulmate," Namjoon teased, a playful glint in his eyes.
"You remember everything," Jin marveled, looking at Namjoon in awe.
"Yes, I do. I'm a genius," Namjoon shrugged nonchalantly.
