"Hyung, it seems like you had a rather eventful night," Taehyung remarked, playfully nudging Jin's shoulder.
Jin's eyes widened at the comment, a sudden realization hitting him.
Oh no, had Taehyung noticed the marks? He mentally berated himself for not being more discreet.
"Wow, hyung, did you enjoy yourself?" Jimin couldn't resist teasing, injecting a mischievous tone into the conversation.
"Stop," Jin responded, his face turning a shade of red that was hard to ignore.
"Oh, hyungie, you're blushing!" Taehyung teased, planting a peck on Jin's cheeks, accompanied by an enormous grin that Jin wished he could erase.
Hoseok observed the exchange with a mix of curiosity and concern. Once the younger members left, it was Hobi's turn to broach the subject with Jin.
"Jin, Namjoon didn't heal you?" Hobi inquired, his expression reflecting genuine concern.
Jin's blush deepened at the question. "N-no, he did," he admitted, succumbing to his own shyness.
Hoseok visibly relaxed.
"I told him not to treat them," Jin explained, clearing his throat before continuing.
"Ah, I see. Yoongi also doesn't bother treating the marks; he loves them," Hoseok reassured, attempting to alleviate Jin's embarrassment.
Jin chose to remain silent, letting the topic fade away into the comfortable air between them.
Shortly after the announcement of the human king's arrival, Seokjin made his way to the main hall where his father, Appa, was lodged. The monarch warmly enveloped him in a hug upon seeing him.
"How are you, my baby?" inquired King Beomgyu, pressing a tender kiss to Seokjin's forehead.
"I'm absolutely fine," Jin replied with a radiant smile. Turning to his royal guard, he inquired, "How're you, Kai-ssi?"
"I'm fine, my prince," responded the guard, bowing respectfully before him.
Addressing King Namjoon, who sat silently on his throne, King Beomgyu expressed a desire to speak. Namjoon nodded in acknowledgment.
"I want to apologize to the court and the officials," declared King Beomgyu.
"Ah, there's no need, sir," Namjoon replied, despite the king's invitation to address him as 'father' Namjoon still call him 'sir'.
Undeterred, King Beomgyu insisted, "No, it's important. I want to start new relationships perfectly, so I want to apologize for any inconvenience they have faced due to me."
The winged king exchanged a glance with Yoongi before signaling for him to leave.
After a brief absence, he returned, informing them that they could proceed to the court.
In the court, the human king extended apologies to all officials, dispelling any misunderstandings. Following a shared lunch, the humans prepared to depart.
As Taehyung and Jimin packed, Jin sat with his father and others until the winged king summoned him privately.
"I want to talk to you privately," he said, and Jin nodded, accompanying him. In the king's room, Namjoon embraced him.
"Promise me you'll come back safely this time," the king requested with a pout.
Jin giggled, responding, "No," leaving Namjoon confused. "Because, King Namjoon, now you have to come to me," Jin whispered, tiptoeing.
