The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as the army geared up for the impending battle.
Amidst the palpable tension, Jungkook concealed his frustration, as to why Taehyung is accompanying them. However, he couldn't contest the orders of his king.
Standing side by side, Namjoon and Yoongi exchanged stoic glances, their emotions concealed beneath the facade of resolve.
"Yoongi! Go and talk to Hobi," the king commanded, his eyes fixed on the vast army assembled before him.
"It's alright, Your Majesty. Let's proceed," Yoongi responded, though inwardly reluctant.
He was really concerns that witnessing Hobi's emotional vulnerability, would make him weak and he don't want that.
"Hyung, please go to him. He needs you," Namjoon implored, understanding the weight of the moment.
"Namjoon, you need me more," Yoongi asserted, squeezing his shoulders in reassurance.
"Please, hyung, just for a moment. He needs you," Namjoon insisted, holding Yoongi's hand and offering a comforting rub.
With a resigned sigh, Yoongi nodded before heading toward the palace.
"Commander, is everything in order?" Namjoon inquired of the military leader, seeking assurance.
"Absolutely, Your Majesty," the commander affirmed, instilling a sense of confidence in Namjoon.
The stage was set, and they were ready to win the war.
Yoongi entered his room to find Hobi standing by the window, seemingly searching for him.
"Hobi," Yoongi called, stepping closer. Hobi turned abruptly, relief washing over his face.
"Yoongi! T-thank God. I t-thought you left with everyone," Hobi stammered, throwing himself into Yoongi's arms. Yoongi held him tightly, securing his lean frame.
"Baby, I came to say goodbye," Yoongi attempted to speak without stuttering, and he succeeded.
"No, you said you wouldn't leave," Hobi looked at him with teary eyes, his vision blurred by the tears.
"I'm sorry, Hobi, but the people need me," Yoongi explained, gently kissing Hobi's forehead.
"And what about me and our baby? We need you too," Hobi sobbed.
"I know. I'll come back soon," Yoongi wiped away Hobi's tears, kissing his eyes.
"Don't go, please," Hobi clutched Yoongi's shirt, his desperation evident.
He felt nauseous again, and before Yoongi could respond, Hobi rushed to the bathroom, retching.
"Baby, are you okay?" Yoongi followed him, seeing Hobi weak and sick, he desperately wants to stay by his side.
After cleaning him up and guiding him to the bedroom, Yoongi asked, "Should I call Fairy Yuna?"
Hobi vehemently shook his head. "I don't want anyone except you."
Yoongi sighed heavily. This was precisely why he hesitated to come — he didn't want to leave Hobi alone in this vulnerable state.
"I promise, baby, I will come back safely," Yoongi reassured him, holding his hands and kissing his knuckles.
"Yoongi, please don't go," Hobi pleaded, shaking his head continuously.
"I'm sorry, my love. Take care of yourself and our baby. I'll come back soon." Yoongi nuzzled Hobi's stomach, kissing it many times, then stood up.
