Taehyung was surprised they just landed in Jungkook's room and it took them less than five minutes. He was still holding onto Jungkook's neck.
"looks like I managed to keep you from falling on the ground," chuckled the winged creature.
"Ah, thank you Jungkook-ssi," the younger prince stammered, a blush spreading across his cheeks.
"Hey! I call you Tae, so you can call me Jungkook or Kook or Kookie." The creature frowned,
"Alright, Kookie. Aren't you feeling tired?" Taehyung gazed into Jungkook's doe-like eyes.
"No, why?" Jungkook asked, still holding onto Taehyung without even realizing it.
"I mean, you've been carrying me for quite a while," Taehyung shyly bit his lower lip, causing the creature's breath to hitch in his lungs. He couldn't help but feel the urge to kiss Taehyung right then and there.
"Oh, right." Jungkook gently made him stand, releasing his grasp.
"But I wasn't tired, I can't be." Jungkook said, his voice filled with affection. Actually he wanted to say "I could hold you forever and never get tired."
"Why? Can't you get tired like us?" Taehyung asked, curious if these creatures could also experience fatigue like humans.
"No, we do get tired, but we have more stamina and strength compared to humans. Our bodies are built to handle more physical exertion," Jungkook explained with a hint of pride in his voice.
"Oh, I see." Taehyung nodded, his expression showing that he comprehended Jungkook's explanation.
"My Prince, it's time for court," Saeyoon announced as he entered the room, addressing Jungkook.
"Alright, let's go, Tae," Jungkook said, reaching out and taking Taehyung's hand.
"Umm.... your highness, His master said he isn't allowed to come?" Saeyoon informed Jungkook, relaying the message he received from Yoongi.
"Hey, Saeyoon, where are your manners? He's the prince of our neighborhood, show some respect," Jungkook scolded, giving Saeyoon a glare.
"I'm sorry, My Prince, I didn't knew." Saeyoon bowed to both of them.
"It's ok." Taehyung said softly.
"Kookie, you go ahead. I'm good here," Taehyung said, gently pulling his hand away from the creature's hold.
"Nah, Tae, I'll talk to Yoongi hyung. He won't refuse me, I know," Jungkook insisted, reaching out to hold Taehyung's hand again. But Taehyung shook his head, declining the offer.
"It's all good, I didn't really feel like going anyway," Taehyung replied casually.
"Alright, Saeyoon, just let my Hyung's know that I won't be able to make it today," Jungkook said, looking at Saeyoon. Saeyoon nodded understandingly and went off to deliver the message.
"You didn't have to cancel your plans just because of me," Taehyung huffed.
"Don't worry about it, Tae. I'm not that important in the court ," Jungkook grinned back, taking a seat next to Taehyung

The court session wrapped up quickly, and they headed back to their own rooms.
"Yoongi! I've actually been thinking that. Humans aren't as bad as we've heard," Hobi said to his husband with a thoughtful expression.
"I don't agree they're bad." Yoongi scrunched his nose, and Hobi couldn't help but find his reaction adorable.
