Sophie's P.O.V.
I sighed. We have been imprisoned for a week already and we haven't been doing anything. The Neverseen have really gone low if their best form of torture nowadays is boredom. At least it works. I'd be willing to give up some information to at least be able to do something.

"As much as I hate to admit it, I kind of agree," Tam responded, informing me that I said it out loud. He sighed. "What I wouldn't give to do literally anything. This is booooooring!" He grumbled.

I agreed. "I would even take Keefe's awful jokes," I commented. Tam turned back to the wall he had been staring at for the past week. "I wonder what the Neverseen are doing. It's not like them to not torture us," I mused. Something was off. They would have at least sent someone other than the usual food deliverer to try and trick something out of us.

A door swung open. Most likely the aforementioned food deliverer coming to give us something to eat. Their footsteps were light, probably a female, but our deliverer was a guy. It didn't strike me as odd though. After all, there were other cells in this chamber. However, our cell for was the one that opened next.

"Who are you?" Tam growled from my side. Apparently, he noticed the change in style too. The woman just smiled and handed the tray to me.

Carved underneath. A melodic voice rang through my mind. Don't look surprised. Cameras are everywhere.

I looked at the lady again. Her honey waist length hair was in two tight dutch braids. Her skin was bronze colored and she had a beautiful hourglass figure. I looked at her eyes. They were gray! "Your eyes!" I exclaimed. "Are you a human?"

The woman laughed. "No, I'm not. You wouldn't know my species, we cut ourselves off a long time ago. My name is Amihan," the woman, Amihan, explained. I nodded, not really getting it.

Tam, being the smart one, asked," What species are you, then?"

Amihan shook her head with a small smile on her face. "I can't tell you that, Rook would be furious," she told us. I raised my eyebrows in question and she slapped her hand over her mouth. "I did it again, didn't I? Ugh, this always happens," she mumbled and ran out of the room, unfortunately remembering to shut the doors.

Tam glare after the woman. "I don't like her, she seemed suspicious," he grumbled.

I rolled my eyes. "Tam, she's in the Neverseen, of course she seems suspicious," I commented and started spooning mush into my mouth. Tam soon followed and eventually, we were done.

"What's this?" He wondered in a monotone voice. He dug his spoon into the deep bowl and brought out a key. I stared at it for a while before flipping the food tray and found intricate carvings on the back.

Deze sleutel past op elk slot in deze kamer. Gebruik het om eruit te komen. Ik zal je ontmoeten bij de achteringang.

- Je bongenoot

(This key fits every lock in this chamber. Use it to get out. I'll meet you at the back entrance.

-Your ally.)

There. This chapter is much longer. Here are y'all's chapter questions:
1: What kind of species do you think Amihan is? Hint: I've mentioned them in one of my books!
2: Who do you think the ally is? Amihan or someone else?
And:
3: What language do y'all think that the note is?
Love yous! Doei!
