  THE JULY SUMMER HEAT was blown away by the air conditioners, making ricky's house much cooler, so he opted to wear a thick hoodie as he gave his friends a tour of his house.

  "and here is our library," ricky says into his phone, angling the camera at the door as he opens it.

"you have a whole library?? in your house??" gunwook's voice gasps. "i don't know how but i always underestimate your wealth." ricky chuckled.

  ricky pans around his phone to give them a better view of what the large room looks like. he paused when he saw a figure at one of the study tables as he stared at his screen.

  looking up, he noticed it was his sister.

"oh, jiayi. you're here." the girl looked up from her notes.

"who's that?" junhyeon asked.

"guys, this is my sister, jiayi," he introduced as he walked up to her. he turned his camera on selfie mode and crouched down next to her so they could both be seen on the call.

"jiayi, these are my friends."

"ah, from korea?" he nodded. jiayi then said "hello!" in english, not being able to speak korean. the others waved and greeted her back.

  suddenly, she hit ricky's shoulder.

"ow! what was that for?"

"you're calling your friends who you've known for a few months, but you never call me - you know, your sister your whole life!"

"technically, i've only known you since i was two, not the whole of it."

  she stared at her brother, speechless, before attacking him again, even pulling on his bleached hair.

"i hope you go bald!"

"ow! stop, stop!"

  the two are now in a cat fight, jiayi pulling on her brother's hair, ricky catching her arms to try and stop her. his phone lay on the floor, his friends cluelessly asking 'what the hell is going on' as the state at the decorative ceiling of the library, unable to see the fight.

  "quanrui. jiayi."

  the two siblings look up to find their mother standing at the doorway, arms crossed sternly.

  they quickly disentangled themselves and stood properly.

"what are you guys doing?"

"nothing," they both said in unison, glancing at each other.

  their mom kept a serious look on her face, trying to keep her smile down as she looked at the two dishevelled teenagers.

"your dad wants you two to come with him to the lab. so go fix yourselves up."

"okay!"

  ricky quickly left the call with his friends and jiayi tidied up her books before they both sprinted out the library, leaving their mother shaking her head.

  visiting the ma laboratories were a normal occurrence in their life. ricky's parents actively involved the two in the ongoing of the company, making sure they were informed and understood so they'd be prepared to lead it when they were older.

the siblings greet everyone as they enter, following behind their dad as everyone waves back.

one of the employees call for their father, asking him to sign some forms for approval, and jiayi takes the opportunity to show her brother what he's missed, to which he agrees and goes off.
