Taylor had just arrived home from the studio and you were both curled up on the sofa with all three cats, watching Greys Anatomy for the eighteenth time. Literally. You counted.

Taylor's phone pinged with three consecutive messages. She picked it up, frowning at the screen when the brightness hit her eyes. She chuckled as she read the messages.

"What? Who messaged you?", you asked, drawing you're attention away from the tv and watching Taylors amused expression.

"Tree. She's warning me about hate comments circulating around social media. I'm gonna check them out", Taylor replied, laughing softly. You frowned at her, reaching for the tv remote under the blanket, to pause the tv.

You turned back to Taylor, scooting closer to her, which startled Meredith making her jump up and fall off the sofa. You snorted as Taylor gasped, dropping her phone to pick up the cat, whispering apologies to the small fluff ball.

She carefully placed Meredith down on the sofa beside her, away from you, and picked her phone back up, opening up twitter.

"Tay.. do you really think this is a good idea?" you asked her softly, your mind flickering back to nights where you would have to hold Taylor as she sobbed her heart out, watching as her life fell apart. "I mean, especially with everything that has happened in the past".

Taylor smiled at you reassuringly, "It's okay babe, I'm stronger now, it doesn't bother me as much", she said before pressing a kiss to your cheek. She scrolled through twitter until she found the hate comments.

Taylor your music makes my ears bleed. Please just stop

"Aww at least they said please", Taylor joked, placing a hand over her heart in fake delight. You chuckled at her words and she laughed with you before scrolling down to find more.

Her cats are more talented than she is

This one had you and Taylor rolling on the floor. You clutched your side as your body shook with laughter, and Taylor pounded her fist into the floor repeatedly as she let out a series of cackles. "Meredith is certainly more talented than I am", she said breathlessly, as she lay on her back stroking the cat. You sat yourself back on the sofa and attempted to get your breath back.

You picked up Taylors phone and scrolled further by yourself. Taylor stayed on the floor and had all her attention on Meredith and Olivia before turning her head towards you as she heard you laugh.

"What? Is it funnier than the cat one?", She asked, curiously, siting back down next to you and looking over your shoulder to read the tweet.

Taylor Swifts music is like a bad hair day - annoying and hard to ignore

"That's genius", Taylor said, snorting at the comment, using her finger to scroll to the next one.

user89103837:

I heard Taylor's song on the radio and changed the station faster than you can say 'off-key'.

Your jaw dropped at that comment and you looked over to Taylor, waiting for her to laugh so that you could laugh too. Taylor let out a low whistle before saying "these people are getting real creative".

You switched her phone off wondering if it was starting to affect her negatively. Taylor just looked at you and shook her head, silently letting you know that she was fine.

You opened her phone back up, typing in her password which was your birthday. You opened twitter and scrolled some more before finding a tweet that caught your eyes.

[snake emoji]

Taylor cackled as she looked at the screen. "I don't think that has quite the same effect as it used to", she said, giggling at the emoji.

"Yeah, they're literally promoting Reputation", you chuckled, putting Taylors phone to one side as you two continued to laugh.

"That's just embarrassing for them", Taylor said, leaning back in her seat. You laughed once more before finding the tv remote, resuming the show you were watching previously. Taylor held out her arms to you and you grinned before snuggling up to her. She wrapped her arms around you, as you both continued to giggle every now and then, especially at that cat one.

"Thank you for staying with me, especially after reading all the hate I get", Taylor whispered softly, as she stroked your hair, watching you instead of the tv.

"I would never leave you, besides those people don't know what they're on about", you replied, looking up at her with a smile.

Her face softened with adoration and she held your jaw with one hand, leaning forward to kiss you gently. You kissed her back, your eyelids fluttering shut. As you pulled away, you gave Taylor a small smile before resting your head on her chest again.

Taylor couldn't help but smile to herself as she watched the tv, wondering how she got so lucky.
