You and Taylor walked through the streets of London, arm in arm. As you walked, you pointed out all the sights to her; Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, The London Eye, Tower Bridge, you name it.
The first time Taylor caught someone filming her, she panicked, wondering if you were going to leave her side when you saw it. But to her surprise you just ignored it, pretending it wasn't happening as you smiled brightly.
Taylor found herself staring at you as you spoke about the history of the Tower of London. She was fully invested in every word that was coming out of your mouth, and something inside her swelled at the thought of having more conversations like these with you.
"The Crown Jewels are actually inside the Tower of London but you have to wait in like a three hour long queue to see them. It's not worth it if you ask me", you rambled on as Taylor stared at you adoringly, listening intently to everything you said.
As you reached the venue, Taylor's walking slowed to an almost stop. You copied her actions and stopped beside her as a large, broad man came running up to Taylor's side. He was dressed in a white shirt with a black jacket and black trousers. He looked very formal in your opinion.
He muttered something to Taylor, who nodded in response. She then gestured to you, who stood there with an awkward smile and the security guard nodded once, politely asking you both to follow behind him.
He led you through many corridors and up a few flights of stairs until you finally reached what they called "Backstage".
Taylor thanked the guard before grabbing your hand and leading you into a small dressing room. The room in question was filled from wall to wall with sparkly outfits; mixtures of blues, greens, oranges, pinks and reds all flourished with sequins and hung up neatly on the rack. There was a large mirror above a very organised dressing table. The mirror had bulbs lining it, filling the room with warm light.
Taylor watched you as your eyes took in this wonder and she giggled as you gasped at the sequinned dresses.
"May I?" you asked her, gesturing to the outfits on the rack. Taylor nodded with a bright grin and watched as you skipped over to the outfits and rifled through them. You stopped at a particular one. The midnights bodysuit. Your jaw dropped open slightly.
"You wear this?" You asked out loud, turning to face Taylor who just smirked as she sat in her swivel chair, legs parted slightly.
"Yeah", she replied casually as if it was just a pair of sweats. Your cheeks flushed with the thought of Taylor wearing such a thing.
"Oh.. my", you whispered, butterflies fluttering in your lower abdomen.
You continued to stare at the many wondrous outfits. Fashion was always something you were quite passionate about, so seeing these masterpieces were incredibly exciting for you. As you took in the beauty of an orange, tasseled two piece, you felt a pair of arms wrap around you from behind.
Taylor rested her chin on your shoulder, her breath fanning over the skin behind your ear, causing you to breathe out shakily.
"Hi", you whispered. Taylor giggled in you ear.
"Hi", she replied, before interlocking her fingers with yours and leading you away from the rack and towards the dressing table.
"The actual show isn't until later this evening but you are welcome to watch the soundcheck which is about half an hour?" Taylor asked, jumping up to seat herself upon the table.
You nodded your head with a smile, "Yeah! that sounds like fun". Taylor bit her lip and blushed intensely.
"You know I really do love that accent of yours", she said quietly, her voice dropping an octave.
Later that evening, the stadium was filled to the brim with buzzing fans and the sounds of excitement. You had made yourself comfortable in the VIP tent, waiting for the show to start.
The soundcheck had gone very well. Taylor didn't give away much from the show, just singing and dancing one of the songs to test the microphone. And even that one song was amazing to you.
You had also met Andrea, whom you were now very friendly with. She seemed to be quite fond of you, always happy to see "another of Taylor's friends", as she had put it.
But the main event was only three minutes away now and you were beside yourself with excitement.
Fans had begun to notice you in the VIP tent and were whispering to the people around them, questioning your identity. You caught a few with their cameras facing in your direction but you simply shot them a dazzling smile and small wave before turning your head back to face the giant countdown clock.
Two minutes.
One minute.
Ten seconds.
Zero seconds.
And before you knew it, Taylor had appeared on the stage in a burst of colour. You clapped as you saw her for the first time and smiled as she danced her way across the stage.
She locked eyes with you a few times during the show, smirking at you, but other than that, there was not much interaction between you both.
Until...
A row of chairs appeared on the stage with Taylor stood in front of them. From that point onwards, her eyes were only pointed in your direction.
You melted as she began to sing, not knowing what was in store for you.
As Taylor kicked her leg up onto the chair and ran her hand down her body, you had to hold the metal bars in front of you for stability, your knees growing weak beneath you.
When Taylor saw the effect she was having on you, she increased the passion, making you tremble and your heart race.
Not long after, the show was over and you were running through the halls of the backstage area. You could see Taylor ahead of you talking to a woman with red hair. You called her name out and she turned around abruptly, her lips spreading into a smile as she saw you running towards her.
She opened her arms for you and held you as you ran straight into them. She breathed in your scent, wanting more than ever to get used to it.
You couldn't stop grinning as you pulled away from the hug.
"That was...", you breathed out, not knowing how to put what you had just seen into words.
Taylor giggled, "You can see it again tomorrow if you like?"
Your jaw dropped and you grinned happily. "Yes please! i'd love nothing more!"
Taylor smiled and pulled you into another hug, hoping that whatever this was with you, would turn into something much more serious and special.
