"Max and El are Coming over by the way." Lucas said, looking away. "What?!" Mike said, sitting up. "Max asked to get back with me and I wasn't thinking and now they're coming over but you can invite Y/n to make El more jealous!" Lucas said, shrugging. Mike got up and dialled Y/n's number, waiting for an answer. "Hello?" An older guys voice came through.

"Hi, is Y/n there?" Mike asked, leaning against the wall. "Who's asking?" The guy asked, seeming skeptical about telling him. "I'm her... boyfriend." Mike said, cringing at himself. "Y/n has a boyfriend?" He heard the guy say faintly. "What?" He heard another say. "Hello? Is Y/n there or not?" Mike said getting impatient.

"Y/n never told me about having a boyfriend, did she tell you?" "No, she didn't tell me." He heard her brothers talking amongst themselves. "Can one of you guys just get Y/n." He said getting annoyed, he heard one of them run off and soon he heard them talking again. "When did you get a boyfriend, why didn't you tell us?" "What? Go away." He heard her say.

"Hello?" Her voice rang through. "Finally, you have to come over like now." He said quickly. "What? Why?" She asked, clearly confused. "I'll explain later, just come over now." He said hanging up before she could answer. Lucas burst into laughter along with Will. "This better be worth it." Mike said, slumping onto the couch.

"Hello Mrs Wheeler." They heard Y/n say upstairs. "Hello again dear, how's your mother? I heard she's gotten herself a boyfriend." His mother said. "Mhm! He's got two kids, a sixteen year old girl and a five year old boy." Y/n said. "Well, I'll let you go downstairs, the boys are waiting for you." His mother said, Y/n walked downstairs quickly.

"So... why do I have to be here?" She asked, looking between the three. "Lucas invited El and Max over so you have to be here to make El jealous." Mike said leaning back on the couch, Lucas rolled his eyes. "It wasn't my fault!" Lucas said as Y/n sat next to Mike. Soon enough El and Max were over and Mike had his arm around Y/n. "So... how about we play a game?" Max suggested, sitting next to Lucas.

"Sure!" Lucas said almost immediately, the group sat in a circle with a glass coca-cola bottle in the middle. "What are we playing exactly?" Mike asked, looking at Max nervous. "Truth or dare." Max said, spinning the bottle, it landed on Lucas. "Truth or dare." Max said, looking at him. "Truth." He said, sitting upright. "When did you first start having a crush on me?" She asked.

"When we figured out you were 'Mad-Max' last year." He told her, smiling slightly. "Your turn." Max said, sitting back. They played normally for a while until the bottle stopped on Y/n and she chose truth. "What are you afraid of?" Max asked, glancing at El. "Uhm... nothing." Y/n said nervously, letting go of Mike's hand and wiping it on her shorts before continuing to hold his hand.

Everyone brushed off her nervousness and continued playing. Max then gave El the cue for the spider, El then released the spider and made it got towards Y/n, as it was crawling up her leg she tensed. As soon as she saw it she screamed, everyone stood up as she did, she was panicking and screaming, trying to get the spider off. "Oh my god! Get it off!" Y/n yelled, shaking her leg as he continued to climb up.

"What? What is it?" Mike asked, trying to seem like a worried boyfriend. "It's a spider!" She yelled, beginning to cry, she continued to shake her leg wanting it off. She tripped and fell into Mike's arm, the spider jumping off her leg and falling upside down. Mike stomped on it while holding onto her, his heart racing as she clung to him. "Why's this happening? Why is my heart racing?" He thought.

Y/n continued to cling to him when his mother came down. "What is going on down here?" She asked, looking at them all. "There was a spider..." Will said, looking over at Y/n who was trembling in Mike's arms. "Oh dear... Y/n why don't you come upstairs and help me with the snacks..." Mrs Wheeler said, looking over with worry written across her face.

Y/n nodded, going upstairs with her. "Go up there with her." Will said, pushing Mike to the stairs. He quickly followed them upstairs, seeing his mom hugging Y/n and comforting her. "W-what happened? I thought you said you weren't scared of anything." Mike said, sitting down with them. "Apart from spiders..." she mumbled, looking away sheepishly.

"So why didn't you just say that?" Mike asked, not realising how insensitive he sounded. "Michael." His mother said sternly, seeming to know little more about this matter than him. "What?" He said shrugging, his mom rolled her eyes and rubbed Y/n's back. "I-it's okay... I should head home..." Y/n said, smiling weakly as she stood up, she left quickly, not letting them get a word out.

"You better apologise next time you see her Mike." His mom said, getting up and grabbing the snacks she had made for them all. "Whatever." He muttered, helping her carry the snacks down. "Where's Y/n?" Will asked after Mrs Wheeler left. "She went home." Mike muttered as he sat down, looking grumpy. The group continued to play truth or dare but Mike was less the interested in it now.
