"Blood."

One word.
One color.
One drop.
Enough to send Evangeline's body into panic mode.

Damien and Theo rushed to her side, their eyes widening as they saw the crimson stain. Worry tightened its grip around them, but determination fueled their steps. They followed the trail of blood, their hearts pounding with a mix of dread but hope.

Finally, they reached the last room. Damien pushed the door open gently, revealing a haunting scene. Rhea lay tied to the bed, her face pale and eyes shut tightly. The room was dimly lit, casting eerie shadows across the walls.

Evangeline's hand flew to her mouth, stifling a sob. "Rhea! Oh my God!"

Damien rushed to her side, followed closely by Theo. They frantically worked to untie Rhea, their hands trembling with urgency and relief. As the knots loosened, Rhea's eyes fluttered open, her vision adjusting to the light.

"Rhea, it's us! You're safe now." Damien whispered, his voice filled with both concern and reassurance.

Rhea blinked, her gaze unfocused for a moment before recognition settled in. She weakly managed a smile, tears streaming down her face. "Evie," her voice was barely a whisper, "You came... You found me."

Theo's voice was filled with relief. "We've got you, Rhea. You're going to be okay."

Evangeline hugged Rhea tightly, her relief washing over her in waves. "I was so scared. I thought he - I. Are you okay?"

Rhea's voice quivered as she spoke, her voice raw with emotion. "I thought I was done for. But you came. Thank you."

Evangeline helped Rhea stand up and she examined her best friend, checking for any injury caused. Rhea was unharmed and Evie sighed in relief. She told them that the blood belonged to Joseph.

As they made their way out of the room, a sound echoed through the house. Footsteps. Heavy and purposeful. Their gazes turned toward the doorway, they knew they were trapped.

Joseph Luther entered the room with a chilling presence, his eyes filled with a sinister rage. He glared at the group, his gaze shifting from Damien to Evangeline, Theo, and finally Rhea. His voice dripped with venom as he spoke, his words laced with an unhinged fury. "Ah, guests. Here to save this bitch?"

Theo's protectiveness kicked in as he positioned himself between the girls and Joseph. Damien's jaw clenched, his gaze narrowing as he was ready to take Joseph down. Rhea, still weak from her ordeal, leaned on Evangeline for support, her hand trembling and eyes filled with fear.
