Chapter 21: When I put the hoodie on, tilt my head at an angle, make my eyes look big and pout I look like the most adorable thing in the world, if I do say so myself... *A/N i just had to put in the whole chapter name...
Oh and the song for this chapter is Leave your lover by Sam Smith...

Later that afternoon, after I'd changed out of my uniform I decided to go talk to Asa.

Jordan sort of hinted that I should also add an apology and even though I didn't really know why I was apologising I thought that I should just go ahead and do it. It doesn't hurt to say sorry... sometimes.

I was wearing this cute little onesie that I bought from Mr Price with mini panda's on it and adorable pink hearts. I also appreciated that it's a bit tighter around the hips so it can show my curves ( Confessions of a self-absorbed teenager). And if my cute panda self couldn't earn her forgiveness, then I don't know what will!

I knocked once on Asa and Lissa's door before I poked my head into the room...

Their room looks almost identical to our room except for a few 5sos posters and a small bookcase. I'm pretty sure Asa must have tried her very best to prevent it from being there.

Next to the door, Lissa had her glasses on and seemed to be reading The Academy: The Other Side of Envy by C.L Stone. Asa, on the other hand, was lying back on her bed and throwing a tennis ball against the wall across. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not but the wall she was throwing the ball at was near the door and the ball kept coming dangerously close to my head. Before the ball hit my head I caught it in my hand and walked over to Asa's bed. While weaving my way through the mess that was their room I waved at Lissa, she did a little finger wave back at me and looked at the direction I was headed at, her eyes widened and she quickly shut her book and scurried out of the room.

I looked after Lissa for a while and shrugged. Turning back to Asa I held out my hand to give her the ball. Just as she was about to take it I pulled my hand back.

Asa rolled her eyes and sat up on her bed.

"Will you please give me back my ball?" she demanded more than asked.

"Sure," I said and as she was reaching to grab the ball I took a step back. "But first I'm going to say what I came here to say."

"Oh, don't you always, "Asa sarcastically retorted while lying back onto her bed.

I rolled my eyes and said, "Look, Asa, I'm sorry for what I said today at Cove Ops. It wasn't right of me to be making assumptions like that and I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings."

There was a huge stretch of silence, but before I could say something, Asa sighed and covered her eyes with her arm, "You don't get it do you?"

"Get what?"

"Sure what you said may have sucked a little but it's not the first time someone has said that to me. It's about more than you asking me that," she said.

"Again, what do you mean?"

"It all started when we went to the mall," Asa said.

"What? When you met my old friends, what happened then?" I asked sitting next to her on her bed.

"No, dum-dum, when we went to the mall for the Cove Ops assignment. Ever since then you've been off and distant. I mean you're dating Prince Charles over there and you barely spend time with him, you spend more time with Andy's dad than you spend time with him... and us... I know I'm not exactly your closest friend like Ally or Jordan, but I'm still your friend and I would like to actually spend some time with you."

Oh boy.

I feel really bad.

I have been quite distant from my friends. It's just with the uncertainty behind meeting Siya at the mall I feel the need to protect them from any bad that could happen. I don't want to put them in danger if there really is something dangerous about Siya. There's something really weird about Siya being there and fitting so easily into the mould that I put him in. Some things about that day just don't click.

"Look, Asa, I'm sorry for that too. It's just... something happened and I can't really tell you about it because I barely know what was going on either. Deyton's just been helping me sort through this mess but... urgh... I don't know, Asa, I'm sorry that I can't tell you more but that's all that I can tell you without giving you one-liners and leaving you hanging."

Asa started to sit up, "That's sort of a one-liner but okay... whatever..."

I stayed for a few more minutes to chat with her so I could lighten the mood. After that I stood up to give her a big bear hug and said, "I'll see you at dinner, then," and walked out of her room.

After my chat with Asa I decided to talk to Ally and Charles. I walked into my room expecting an Ally-like figure to be in my room and saw no such thing so I went over to Charles.

I walked down the stairs to the main floor and walked past the Common Room over to where the boys' dorms are. I stood at the door for a few minutes before someone opened the door. I mumbled a thank you to the guy before he said, "Hey, Kris?"

I stopped walking, tempted to ignore the voice but turned around and saw some green eyes framed with long lashes.

"Oh, hey, James," I said while waving and turned around and started walking again. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around, fists ready to punch the guy who touched me without my permission.

James jumped back up a step, hands up in surrender, "Wait, I'm not going to hurt you, I just want to walk with you to wherever you're going and give you your 'Welcome to Silverton North High' present."

I relaxed and said, "It is fine, thanks, I don't need an escort but I would like to get my present."

James and I started walking and it wasn't long before he spoke again, "Where are you going anyway?"

"I'm going to Charles' room,"

"Is he your boyfriend?"

"Yeah, he is."

"Wait, Charles Stark?"

"Yes," I said, "why?"

"No, I just live on the same floor as him so that makes my present-giving a bit easier."

"Why are you giving me a present?" I asked. He was about to say something else before I interrupted him and said, "Why at such an awkward time? I've been here for, like, 5 months and you decide to give me a present now?"

"Just shut up, will ya," James playfully said.

He stopped in front of a door and unlocked it with a key. I'm guessing it's his dorm room. He looked around his room for a while before he went to his cupboard and pulled out a jar of Nutella.

Needless to say I immediately perked up.

"This... is for you," he said presenting the jar to me. "Because you're special," he said and beeped my nose.

"Thanks, James," I said and I went en pointe and gave him a hug.

All of a sudden I was wretched away from the hug by a huge hand on my shoulder. I turned and realised that it was Charles.

"What in the world are you doing, Kris?"
