After we had lunch together, we decided to talk some more while time went by.

Hannah: - Wait, so does that mean you weren't kidding? You really don't know how to peel an orange?

Harry: - Not in the right way. I mean... I even try, but I end up losing patience and tearing everything up in the end.

Meg: - Everyone has a vulnerability. Mine is being afraid of heights. Like, very afraid of heights.

Hannah: - Makes sense. It took you forever to come down from that two-story building when we were on our way to Celestial.

Meg: - Fear can be paralyzing at times. It's almost uncontrollable.

Hannah: - Fair enough. I can teach you how to get over that fear if you want.

Meg: - I don't know if that's possible. I prefer not to underestimate my fears.

Hannah: - It may seem impossible, but it's not rocket science. Trust me. I used to be very afraid of heights too. If you don't face your fears, you'll fight every day against something you can't win.

Meg: - Damn. That was... inspiring. What movie did you get that quote from?

Realizing what she said, Meg tried to apologize.

Meg: - Oh, wait. Sorry, it wasn't my intention. I forgot you don't know what movies-

Hannah: - Don't worry. It's ok.

Then Meg took a deep breath and looked at me.

Meg: - What do you know about getting over fears? Is it so bad to avoid something that makes me feel bad?

Hannah: - Whenever you avoid fear, it finds a way to get to you. Sometimes in surprising ways. If you keep running away, it will stab you in the back. Believe me. If you learn to get over it, you'll want to get close to every building edge you come across.

Meg kept looking at me as she thought silently. I think I can convince her if I talk a little more.

Hannah: - And since our world is in chaos, do you know what the first step is to get over fear of heights? Parkour.

Meg: - Parkour? Why?

Hannah: - Zombies don't expect to find someone who can run and climb quickly and naturally. Parkour can save your life. Trust me.

Harry: - Well, it's not like we're immortal. We can still fall off a building if we're not careful.

Hannah: - Just don't fall then. It's not that hard to learn to balance. Didn't you guys say you want to fight by my side? Zombies won't wait for you to go up a building by taking the stairs when they're chasing you. Let alone volatiles. You need to climb if you want to survive. How do you think I'm still alive?

Harry: - Maybe there's a better way. A way to make her get over it little by little. We don't need something extreme right at the beginning.

Meg: - No. She's right. I need to get over it. The sooner the better.

Harry: - Meg, you're not-

Meg: - Harry, come on. The one talking to us is the volatile huntress. Do you really think she's talking nonsense? She wants to help me and she knows the best way. You said it yourself you wouldn't doubt her anymore.

Hannah: - Hey, easy. You don't have to fight him about this. He's just worried about you. I understand that. I just wanna help.

Meg: - No, I'm not fighting him. Just explaining. Sorry if it came across that way.

Hearing this, Harry thought briefly and finally said something.

Harry: - Ok. Screw it. I'll be a part of that too. She will teach us things sooner or later anyway, so whatever.
