After a long time teaching Meg and Harry how to do the basics of everything, I took a little distance from where the two of them were and watched them with my arms crossed. We were on the last move and both Meg and Harry still needed to do it to officially end today's training.

At this point, I had already taught them many fighting techniques involving light and heavy blows of different forms and categories and also some basic survival tactics such as searching for resources and tracking a person or infected. Besides, I taught them the best way to run, how to use their breath to their advantage so that it doesn't run out quickly, and how to dodge in different ways. Lastly, and one of the most important, I taught them some basic parkour moves so they could get off to a great start outside and they learned surprisingly quickly. I think the way a person teaches is as important as the way the other person pays attention, so it seems I did a good job. I hope I can help them evolve quickly in this last category, since it's one of the most required to survive in this world. If they manage to evolve, they'll be following me and fighting alongside me out there in a few days.

Facing Harry, Meg positioned herself with her back to the mattress and got ready to perform the last move I taught them. We were very tired and sweaty, so this was definitely the last move of all. I just need to make them execute it perfectly and they'll be free for the day.

Meg: - What is this move called again? Ippon-what?

Hannah: - Ippon Seoi Nage. It's a precise immobilization technique that can change the course of a fight if you know how to use it. It's saved my ass many times in several different situations.

Meg: - Are you sure it works on anyone? It seems impossible against bigger enemies.

Hannah: - There are better ways to immobilize an enemy twice your size. I used this one on a big guy once, but I don't recommend it. My back hurt all day and I had to stop to rest a few times. I even thought that something had happened to my spine, but fortunately that wasn't the case. That's why it's better to use techniques more suited to this type of opponent.

Meg: - That way I'll end up using this only on regular zombies. They're the only ones where there's a chance they won't be bigger than me. It's not like I have much strength anyway.

Hannah: - I'll help you change that over time. What matters now is that you can perform this move. There is still a long way to go.

Harry: - Just do as she taught you, Meg. I'll make it easier for you.

Meg: - Ok. Let's do this.

Harry: - I'm ready. Whenever you want.

Focused, Meg looked at Harry's posture and tried to quickly remember how to do the move. When she was finally ready, she positioned herself correctly and nodded her head for Harry to start.

Then Harry simulated a basic attack and Meg grabbed his arm. After that, she pulled him over her back and threw him to the floor, doing exactly the way I taught her. Harry fell hard onto the mattress, but he didn't get hurt.

Hannah: - Yes! That was perfect! - I said as I uncrossed my arms. - You did great, Meg. Got every move right. I didn't think you could do it on the first try, but you surprised me.

After that, Harry got up from the mattress and wiped his clothes.

Harry: - Damn... The hell was that? I didn't think you'd use that much strength. You mad at me? You really weren't messing around.

Meg: - No, no. I think I just... got a little carried away. My bad.

Then Meg raised her hands and looked at them for a while.

Meg: - Wow... What a strange feeling. I mean, I expected to be impressed if I could do it, but it seems like I finally felt like I could do something. Even though Harry made it easier for me, it's almost like I feel like I'm no longer vulnerable. I could barely kill zombies and now I'm performing martial arts moves on friends I love.
