Everyone is screaming and Felix and Max are shutting the doors while we drag Amy from the doors into the foyer. Her hands are around her throat to stop the blood and everyone else is in a flood of panic. Patricia is have a meltdown while Amy is trying to breathe and everyone is attempting to contain Amy's blood. We can't get bandages unless we risk our lives, so she has to hold on. I look out through the windows in the foyer doors and see what cut Amy. A garrote wire.
Garrotes are when you trap someone by having them run into a wire and their air is cut off. But a garrote wire has razors on the silver steel. But now blood is over the razors. Amy's throat hasn't been bleeding normally, but slit open. I turn back and see blood has flooded the floorboards and Amy's lifeless body.
Patricia screams at the top of her lungs in pain of the loss of Amy, and everyone is so much sorrow. Certainly more than Tucker. As for her brothers, they don't show their emotions through sounds, but through their grim faces. I let everyone grieve but I know that standing here is only going to increase our chances of death. So I head off upstairs armed with the sharp coal impaler.
While upstairs when rushing along the halls, I can hear nothing but the groans from downstairs.
"What are you doing?" Christian asks me from behind making me jump.
"Securing the house," I say. "And calling the police."
"We can't get a signal," he reminds me.
"Sometimes if you call the police they get it as a voicemail and will be able to track it, but it's best if it's just the one person texts them," I explain while dialing 999 on my mobile. "Still no signal."Downstairs everyone has gone silent apart from Patricia and Max trying to calm her.
"I'm gonna take her upstairs," Max says. Everyone else agrees.
While Max assists Patricia upstairs, I check out of the windows.
"All clear besides that wire, Christian can you use something to cover Amy," I say looking down at the blooded body on the floor. He gets a large piece of clothe that's covering the table and places it over her.
"What should we do?" Elizabeth asks.
"We need to make sure all the doors and windows are locked and maybe hang a sign out the window," I explain before crouching beside Donald. "Do you want to take it out?" I ask after checking that no more blood is flooding out.
"No it's fine, I can't even feel it any more," he says.
"Are you sure?"
He just puts his hand near the arrow and groans as if as a reassuring gesture.
"Right you all stay here while I shut the doors and windows."I scout the premises of the house armed with a meat cutting knife I got from the dining table. I easily shut the doors that lead to the outdoors, and lock the windows. I run into Max while scouting.
"Is she okay?" I ask.
"Yeah. You okay up here?" he asks referring to upstairs.
"I'm fine. In fact downstairs, could you move things to block the windows and shut all of the curtains."
"Course," he says before hurrying off.
I continue to shut all of the doors and windows; locking the windows.
Then there's a smash.
It's behind me.
Then a hand grabs the back of my hair and yanks it. I cry out painfully and try to breathe through the pain. My hands immediately struggle to the persons hands and attempt to prise them off. Then I realise, that I'm armed. I ignore forcing his hands off and shift the handle so that the sharp metal is facing towards my stomach and sharply jam the knife through the attackers' arm pinning them to the window frame.I turn and see that it is a person, sounds like a man, but wearing all black and a Tiger Mask. Black boots. Black gloves and a mask. I then find a draw and scramble through it for any sort of killing weapon, but the first draw lacks the requirements I'm looking for. But the second draw contains a bread cutting knife. I face the window and find the knife has been dropped bloodied on the floor and the Tiger Mask gone.
These people have certainly come prepared for whatever reason they're here for. I grab the meat cutting knife off the floor and continue to shut and lock all of the windows.
Then there's a hollars of terror that screams through the whole house.
