Chapter seven

*Five POV*

"How could you guys really say that?" I ask very loudly.

"Because it was. It was very out of line." Luther says whispering.

"Now you've made me upset and you've made y/n upset way to go, idiots." I say quieting down, but still being stern.

I look out the window and see y/n just standing in the middle of the parking lot, then I look to the right of her and see a car speeding at her.
"Y/N!" I scream. I know what I have to do to save her so I jump out there, grab her, and teleport us back into the diner.

*Y/n POV*

As soon as you seen the car you realize there is nothing you can do, even with your super speed, the car was to close, so you squeezed your eyes shut. Instead of getting hit by a car you feel warm arms wrap around you.

After moments you hear a voice ask, "Y/n are you ok? Are you hurt?"

You look around you and your in the diner, across from you is Diego. You shake your head and ask, "What just happened?"

You look to your side and see Luther staring below you, so you look behind you and see you are sitting on Fives lap. You instantly start blushing and say, "Oh my I'm sorry Five I didn't even, I'm sorry."

As you hopped out of the booth you started reading Fives mind. 'Oh my gosh she was sitting on my lap.' You start to blush even harder and you say, "I'm going to go to the car for real now, y'know five thanks for saving my life."

He gives you a small smile and says, "Anytime."

Before you could get out of the door Luther stops you and asks, "We aren't going to talk about what just happened?"

"There is nothing to talk about." You say walking back towards the booth.

"I mean y/n and Fives relationship just took it to the next level!" Diego squeals high-fiving Luther.

"Omg you are so right!" Luther says with a big smile on his face.

"Guys Five saved my life, we aren't dating." You say ridiculed by their behavior.

"Yeah what she said." Five says backing me up.

"Five how did you know she was about to get hit by a car?" Diego asks as you sit down next to him.

"Because you guys were making me mad so I looked out the window, that's when I seen her and the car."

"Ok." Diego suspiciously says, like as if he was questioning it.

A few awkward minutes pass so you spoke up and say, "Guys we should probably get back on the road." Everybody nodded their heads and you all walked out of the diner.

*In the car an hour later*

"Hey y/n I have a question." Five says curiously.

"What is it Five?"

"Have you ever thought of what you want in the future?"

"I have actually."

"What is it? What do you want for the future?"

"You know I don't think it really matters because we won't make it for it to happen."

"It matters to me." He says putting his hand on your and giving you a reassuring squeeze, just glad Luther and Diego didn't see that.
