"How could you do such a thing?" Nora yelled, looking at Sully angrily.
"You don't understand, Nora, and it's none of your fucking business," he said in a low, raspy voice and stood up. He walked past her without even looking at her.
She ran after him in a rage.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" she retorted angrily, running after him. "Of course it's my business".
"Let me do my damn job," he said, turning abruptly. He was now standing right in front of her and she had to look up to see how angry he looked.
"This is supposed to be a job? Yeah?" she asked indignantly, throwing her hands in the air. "Damn, that's not just a felony, that's stupid, disgusting, disrespectful, brutal, and just so typical you."
Sully's jaw tightened and Nora saw in the corner of her eye his upper arm muscles harden. His whole body was under tension and Nora sensed from the short distance how energized he was.
"Listen, I don't give a shit about your little fucking opinion," he spat out, gesturing with his hand. "You get involved in this shit, you ask, then you have to deal with the answers. Don't get emotional about it."
"I'm not getting involved, I am already involved because YOU HAD ME KIDNAPPED" Nora screamed, looking at him incredulously.
How short-sighted and stupid could anyone be?
"Idiot", she spitted out.
"You better watch your fucking mouth".
Nora ignored him and tried to move to him but he immediately grabbed her wrist enabling her of touching him.
"What the hell do you expect when you pull me into your life so abruptly? I had no choice," she yelled at him. This man made her so incredibly angry, everything inside her boiled, she could barely keep her hands still.
"But yet you're still here, aren't you?" stated Sully in a low, raspy voice. "You could be long gone by now, if I'm not mistaken".
That asshole.
That fucking asshole.
He knew it didn't work like that. He knew she didn't have a choice.
"You're such an asshole," Nora hissed, pressing the flat of her hand against his chest, trying to push him, but he barely moved. However, something changed in his eyes, they became dark.
"What the fuck do you think you are doing," he hissed, stepping right in front of Nora. A few inches from her face he stopped, Nora had to look up to look at his face.
"Fuck you," she whispered, emphasizing each word individually.
He stepped closer and pushed her in the direction of the wall behind her.
The air between them was crackling.
"Don't. Talk. Like. That"
"Watch me"
"I hate you so much," he whispered quivering and the anger in his dark eyes became more vivid.
There was something else in his eyes.
He came closer.
"I hate you so so much", he whispered under his breath before his lips clashed onto hers.
What?
His lips on hers.
Wait what?
He pushed her hard against the wall.
