"I'm going to need some Aspirin for this shit"

"you see..."

"NO! Look, me and Miles have already heard this story too much lately. You were bitten by a radioactive spider in some way giving you powers making you some version of a spiderman. We've heard it once and I certainly don't need to hear it again! But we would like to know how you got here", I said, cutting them off. I did not need to hear another origin story today, especially from these guys. I can tell they're going to be a lot more outlandish than earlier.

"Well it's kind of a long story", Spider noir started.

"You see we were suddenly pulled from our universes ending up in Times square. Though the one here seems much bigger than the one back home. Maybe not that long", Noir said with a shrug.

"Now we're just trying to find a way home", Penny said as her mech showed a sad face.

"The only way home is back through that collider gizmo. The only problem is...."

"One of us has to stay behind to destroy it", Spider-ham said, cutting him off. Seriously, the guy looks like he came straight out of a cartoon. Wouldn't be surprised if he was able to pull items out of thin air just like a cartoon character.

"I'll do it", they all said in unison. Gotta love the hero mindset. That would work in a perfect world but there's one thing I don't think they realize.

"Love the enthusiasm guys but there's once issue you're not getting"

"What's that...". On que they all started to glitch just as penny was mid sentence. What was strange though was everyone did. Why am I not glitching? ever since I got here I haven't had any kind of glitching episode. Not going to bother thinking about it since science is not my forte.

"see? None of you can stay here because if you stay here you'll die. I'm the guy who's going to turn it off and get you all home before I do. Look I made a promise, so I have to keep it", Miles said full of conviction. He's come a long way since we've started this but I really don't think he's ready. He hasn't got a handle on his powers yet but maybe this is one of those trial by fire scenarios. The woman said to follow him so I will. He's shown great bravery through this whole ordeal. He may just surprise me.

"Who are you again?", Noir said, confused.

"This is Miles Morales, the new spiderman of this dimension. He may not have a handle on his powers yet but I believe he can do this"

"Your getting better at this Jack"

"Shut up miles, your ruining it"

"yeah this is miles! He's going to save the multiverse! He can turn himself invisible, see he can do it now. He can't do it on command but it is cool", Peter said, helping to sell it but doing the opposite. The others just looked at us unsure.

"Peter stop it, you're not helping", I whispered to him trying to get him to stop. Which like every plan so far went down in flames.

"Do the zappy thing miles", Peter said looking proud. Miles tried but couldn't do it. Peter then continued to try and make Miles look good but did the complete opposite.

"Look, I've seen him in action and he's got potential. I think he's going to get us home", Gwen said trying to salvage this. I gave her a look thanking her for trying to help. It only got worse though.

Noir came up asking if he could take on a bunch of Kingpins men before sweeping him off his feet. Then Penny asked if he could rewire a mainframe while being shot at before being punched in the nose by Noir. Gwen asked him if he could flip and swing with the grace of a trained dancer. Soon they all started overwhelming him with different questions but started picking him up to only knock him back down. The whole thing started to get me angry to the point I had enough!
