"If you'll excuse me I just remember I need to take care of something". Leaving my stuff behind I headed for the cafeteria doors. Now this just got more confusing with everything. He's breaking character now, I only go at night and I work alone. The news showed that he had multiple armed men with him.

"Jack, wait!". Turning around I saw Peter chasing after me. Catching up with me he caught his breath real quick.

"You can't go out! It's during the day! they'll see you coming!", Peter said worriedly. Hearing him say that actually gave me an idea.

"Trust me I can make it in without them seeing me but I'm going to make sure they do"

Getting to the scene it looked like the whole Police Force was here along with SWAT. They also had sniper teams all around. Not a fan of the police but they do know how to lock a place down. Thankfully I had the bright idea to camouflage myself on my way here. The dark colors of my suit were more than just for show, the colors also allowed me to not rely on my camouflage ability too much. Looking around I tried to find a good place to make an entrance without getting shot and plenty of people able to see me.

My plan is to rush in to save the Mayor while making sure plenty can see me. If people see me going in along with the news and cops they start asking questions. Then when I save the mayor and he sees two spooks he'll be able to clear my name. Maybe I can even get him out in the open for everyone to see. Though it doesn't answer the point of this. Taking the Mayor hostage won't give him control of New York. Something else is going on here and I'm going to find out what. Thankfully I found a good place to run in.

Jumping through the air I landed on a rooftop before jumping through the air de cloaking. Landing on top of a police Mobile command I gained the attention of the police and onlookers. Jumping from police car to police car toward city hall I gained more. Thankfully none of the officers decided to take pot shots at me before I jumped through the air busting through a window of city hall. Landing in a kneeling position it seemed I was in one of the conference rooms. Which also had one of the armed assailants.

Rolling over the table toward him I kicked him into the wall before grabbing his gun pulling it away. Throwing the gun to the side I grabbed his head smashing it on the table keeping it there. He reached for a knife strapped to his leg trying to cut me and in my moment of having to dodge his slash I let him go. Coming at me with another slash I grabbed his wrist applying pressure making him drop his knife before turning him around pinning his arm behind his back.

"You're going to answer some questions for me and If I don't like the answer, be ready for some serious pain", I said, pushing his face into the table.

"Fuck you"

"Not a good start", I said, snapping his arm. Before he could yell in pain I covered his mouth letting the pain ride out. Once he was done yelling I let his arm go as he dropped to the ground in pain.

"You got one arm and two legs left. Now how many hostages do you have?", I said looking down at him. Holding his broken arm in pain he spoke.

"We have twenty hostages on the 3rd floor in conference room 16 with the mayor in his office with you?", he said looking at his broken arm. Picking him up I grabbed his hand holding one of his fingers ready to break it.

"How many guys do you have and where are they?". He looked at me with pure anger in his eyes, not answering. Wrong choice. Snapping his finger I covered his mouth as he howled in pain before calming down again.

"Answer the question", I said, pushing on the broken finger making him groan in pain. Thankfully he decided to play nice.

"Twenty five guys, evenly spread out on each floor but four are on the roof keeping an eye on the sniper teams in the area". Letting go of his broken finger he was groaning in pain. Grabbing him by his vest I dragged him toward the window I broke through. Looking at the window he then looked at me.
