*ALEX’S POV*

Stacy sat down on the chair in front of my desk.

“I think we should keep her,” she told me, “I want to play around with her.”

“Okay, but did you do the job?” I asked. She smiled and opened up her backpack.

“I even brought you a little souvenir.” She pulled out Andrew’s lightning sphere and tossed it to me.

“It’ll go right to my collection,” I laughed.

“Why didn’t you just do it yourself though?” she asked.

I placed the lightning sphere into a drawer. “Because my dear, I’m smart. The first person they’d suspect would be me. I wasn’t even there, I was with Drake,” I told her.

“My, what a genius,” she laughed. I glared at her.

“If anyone asks, I had nothing to do with it,” I said. She nodded.

“By the way, what are you going to do once you have the nine spheres?” she asked.

“That’s a surprise, but don’t worry, I’ll tell you first,” I winked at her.

She put her hands on her hips and said, “Come on, just tell me.”I took out the lightning sphere and examined it.

“You can’t make me tell you,” I said.

“If I could, I would though,” she mumbled.

I looked over at her.

“Don’t forget who has more power here. I could kill you in a second if I wanted to,” I told her. She looked a little taken back and had a twinkle of fear in her eyes.

But she and I both knew I was right.

“I have to go anyways,” I said, standing up.

“Where do you always go off to?” she asked.

I shrugged and said, “You know, places to be, people to meet, that kind of stuff.”

*KATE’S POV*

I sat down on the bed and opened up the book I had taken from Kevin’s library.

I hoped he wouldn’t notice it was gone.

“Once the black (or white) rabbit dies, a new person becomes the next black (or white) rabbit. The next person that becomes one of them is decided even before they’re born though. It is not sure exactly what the black and white rabbits are, so people just call them ‘mortals’ or ‘humans’, since they fit in that category better. But there is a special ability that the black and white rabbits have. Their special ability is different from each other though, and it is unknown what their ability is,” I read.

 I have a special ability?

I had to read more, but I think I should ask Kevin about it instead.

Why hadn’t he told me all this stuff?

Once he got home, I was going to ask him.

I put the book down and got off the bed. I was going to Kevin’s library to put the book back, but I bumped into Alex on the way there.

“Oh, sorry Alex,” I said. He had something in his hand, but I couldn’t see what it was. It looked like some kind of see through ball made of glass.

“I’m sorry too. Where are you going anyways?” he asked.

 “Kevin’s library, what about you?”

“I’m just going to hang out with a friend,” he told me.

“Oh that’s cool. I’ll see you later then,” I said. .
