Wednesday waited outside Weems office for Kali. She had so many questions and she wanted to ask them as soon as possible. After that beautiful display of violence outside, one might say that Wednesday was smitten. Though purely platonically. The girl intrigued her and she was dying to learn more.

Enid had elected to return to their dorm after what she witnessed. Wednesday didn't blame her nor was she surprised. Her roommate has never been great with blood and gore. But this left Wednesday on her own to talk to Kali. Wednesday wondered if Kali may try to kill her too. It was an exciting notion.

It took an hour before Kali walked out of Weems office. "Are you expelled?" Wednesday immediately asked.

Kali stared blankly at her. "No."

"Tell me about the NOC organization."

"No." Kali walked past her. She didn't want to have to explain everything to someone she doesn't even know. Plus, she was still trying to process that according to Weems fights are, A, a last resort to conflict, and B, not to the death (apparently). That seemed dumb. How else are you supposed to know when it's over?

Wednesday followed. "Can you say anything besides no?"

"No."

Wednesday gritted her teeth. This girl was becoming frustrating. "I can help you with whatever it is you're trying to achieve with this organization."

That got Kali to stop walking. Was this girl really offering to help her? Kali wanted to say no again, but she did need the help. No one at this school knows anything and she doesn't know how to go about finding information another way. A few seconds passed before she turned to face the girl. "How?"

"Sleuthing is my specialty."

Kali stared blankly. Was she supposed to know that that word meant?

Wednesday narrowed her eyes at her, wondering if she didn't understand. "I can help you find the information you seek."

Kali huffed. "Fine. But we need to talk somewhere private."

Wednesday smirked. "I know just the place."

"She did what?!" Yoko yelled after Enid told her what happened outside. "My roommate really is a psychopath!" She grabbed Enid's arms and began shaking them. "I'm going to die! You have to get me out of there!"

Enid gave her a blank stare. "You can't die, Yoko."

"But I can still feel pain!" She leaned in close, looking over her sunglasses. "Do you want your best friend in pain?"

"I want my best friend to stop cutting off my arms blood flow." Enid pried Yoko's arms off her and shook them to get the tingling to go away. "As for your psychopath roommate, you just gotta do what I did with Wednesday when she first moved in."

"Which was?"

"Keep your distance."

Yoko blinked. "That's definitely not what you did."

"Okay, maybe not, but it's definitely what you should do. You didn't see the fight." Enid shuddered. "It was terrifying."

Yoko groaned and collapsed onto Enid's bed. "You're not helping! And it's Friday which means I don't have classes to use as an escape from her until Monday!"

"Just be in your dorm as little as possible then, I don't know what to tell you."

Yoko reached over and latched onto her as she whined, "Tell me I can stay here forever."
