Shadow's pov
*Nightmares*
"I will get you Shadow, I will and when I do, I will hurt everyone you love" A voice said
The voice was coming closer, and I was in a weird place, sitting helpless on the floor, trying to scream for help but I couldn't.
"Who are you" I called to the mysterious person
"I am your past, your doom, your destruction and I will get you, I will get you" the voice was saying quicker by the second and boom! A large figure jumped on top of me, I woke up with a start.
*2AM (reality)*
"2AM, what the hell!" I said rubbing my eyes
"Why can't I just sleep well these days, like the poison situation isn't enough, I'm also having nightmares" I groaned
Sonic and silver were sleeping peacefully close to me, I pecked their foreheads and smiled and I as I tried to speak, my throat was dry and I couldn't, it hurt trying to swallow my saliva, and I couldn't move either, I tried to wake sonic or Shadow up but I couldn't, I found out I couldn't breathe, I was struggling, panicking, kicking and I tried my best to stand up, to grab a glass of water, it was like my lungs were blocked, my body ached I kept trying to gasp for air but I couldn't, then, I fainted.
It was morning when I was conscious again, my head was spinning and sonic was literally looking at me wide eyed, staring into my soul, he looked like he hadn't gotten enough sleep.
"Shadow, you're awake" sonic said excitedly
"I am my love, what happened" I asked
"You fainted, I heard something hit the ground and I woke up to see you on the floor" sonic said sadly "I couldn't sleep all night, neither could silver, silver's literally crying over you right now"
"Oh, tell him I'm awake, my bae doesn't need to cry" I said
Silver walked in and hugged Shadow really tight.
'i thought I'd lost you" silver said
"No way! You're not loosing me, I'm right here, I'll be fine" I replied
"I'll tell tails to be quicker with the antidote" sonic said walking out of the room
"Okay" I said
To be honest, getting the antidote as soon as possible would be better, not being able to breathe that night was the worst, I saw life flash before my eyes more times than I could count.
