The memories...

"Ready to hang?" John B questioned, holding a smirk while he strolled past me, while I slowly walked on the warm sand by myself because it seemed to me that everyone had disappeared. Possibly on hunting duty.

Nonetheless, I didn't worry, we all knew our way back to our paradise home. We had to learn over time, but it got easier, with specific items like huge palm trees, and small unique, and gorgeous plants.

"Hang on what?" I leaned my head to the side in bafflement. "Is that a threat?" I murmured, corking my messy and thick eyebrows at him, but he stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder. "It's an event, dumbass. We are hanging JJ's masterpiece on the main tree. Let's go. It's starting before sunset. You're almost late!" John B explained, reaching over and carefully grasping my wrist before he began running down the warm and peaceful beach, dragging me along with him.

The peaceful seaside aesthetic momentarily died with the sound of my unexpected yelp at his rapid speed, and a bundle of loud laughter coming from his mouth.

"Come on!" John B shouted, as my long legs began to give out. "You're fast! Slow down!" I loudly implored before I started to crack up with him.

"Or you're just too slow! Come on!" John B exclaimed, keeping his grasp on my wrist tight, potentially bruising my tan skin, but it was the least of my worries.

Time skip!

"Finally! You arrived!" Sarah loudly clapped, catching John B and me running, heavily panting while his tough grip on me slipped once we arrived at the main and massive palm trees.

"About time!" Cleo and Pope shouted.

"I thought I was going to have to fight off some people," JJ notified me with a rigorous gaze, as the white flag hung off of his muscular shoulder, but I unleashed a breathy chuckle. "That wasn't going to end too pretty, huh?" I lightly flirted.

"You know it won't." JJ kept going.

"Ugh! Stop flirting, you're irritating." Pope annoyingly threw his head back but Cleo and Sarah laughed at his actions I was heavily used to.

"They are cute. Don't get envious, man." Cleo defended me, giving nothing but a delighted grin, only making the boy scoff at her.

"Anyways, we are late because I had to pick up, Maybanks girlfriend! Looking like a lost puppy. And she's slow!" John B scolded me, lightly shoving my shoulder with his, causing me to stumble over, and I rolled my dark eyes.
