Long moments later, Rafe and I were lying under a dark green cold plastic cover, that was lying in the long truck, trying to make our body as still as possible, feeling a couple of speed bumps during the ride that were hard to manage.

My silk-covered long legs were folded, and pushed up against my stomach, making my body small and not suspicious.

The long truck started heading towards the end of the large and long beautiful property, knowing we had to stumble upon the fierce security that had no choice but to scout any vehicle that left or entered. And those security guards recognized me as a needed hostage of Carlos Singh. They possibly recognized Rafe as well.

The loud engine that belonged to the long vehicle filled my alarmed and paranoid ears while I peeked up, locking eyes with the quiet and fierce boy in front of me who gave me a blank stare as I revealed my uncomfortable complexion.
Feeling the dirty rough plastic lying over us, our exhausted pants soon began to slow down, which caused part of the steamy and warm temperature underneath.

Then, the long truck began slowing down, making the loud engine sounds decrease, meaning were arriving at the end of the large property, meeting with the many strict property guards. We came to a halt, making Rafe and my body gently jolt, listening to the brake hissing on the end of the truck.

"Try and stay still," Rafe whispered, earning me to lowly hum In response, and my dark eyes slowly fluttered closed, before my upper facial features squeezed from trepidation and paranoia.

A little exhale fled out of my mouth, while I kept my timid and drowsy body buried and frozen against the pointy hay, attempting to minimize my movement.

"Yeah. All clear." A protecting guard loudly approved from the side of the hay-filled truck, making my dark eyes burst open, meeting Rafe's. "Let them through! Let them through!" Another guard demanded before the engine began powering up, and the truck started moving, and speeding out of the property.

"Yes." Another deep breath flew out of my mouth, watching Rafe gradually stretch his thin lips into a pleased and soft smile.

"Stay just like this for a moment." Rafe creaky instructed causing my head to slowly nod, feeling my body shiver from the discomfort of the warm feeling under the tough plastic blanket.
