"I'm sorry." JJ quietly started, taking a seat on the fluffy booth area beside me, resting on his knees, gazing at me with soft eyes. "What's going on?" I gently muttered, watching him rush a hand up to his soft blonde hair, and brush it out of his uneasy face.

"I never meant to treat you that way. Ignore you, especially if you know better than anyone about what we are dealing with." JJ explained, bringing my doe eyes to brighten, and a massive and peaceful puff escaped from my mouth, at the the phrases he let out that were nothing like what was in my head.

We should break up.

We need to take a break.

It's done.

"My head was wrapped around B, and I didn't think about how you felt during the situation because, at the same time, you getting kidnapped could've messed you up badly. But from the way it looks, it didn't." JJ deeply gazed at my relieved complexion, squinting his bright eyes, making my dark eyebrows raise for a moment.

"I got away in time before it could," I whispered, keeping my soft eyes on his concentrated face, watching his radiant eyes open once more, and nod.

"That's good, baby. I don't want that messing you up. It's all about group work. Cleo is right. Somehow every time she's right." JJ slowly reached over, placing one of his hands on my sunburned cheek, making my eyes softly flutter shut, feeling cozy listening to his words before a breathy laugh fled out of me.

"She is." I giggled.

"I didn't mean to upset you. You know me...I...I like to help everyone, and so do you. But we were helping different people at the same time." JJ whispered before my soft eyes opened, flicking my eyes toward the other side of the empty boat.

"It's okay, we are all stressed, and frustrated. I just want to keep you guys safe. I didn't want to leave John B, it wasn't my plan. But we had to." JJ gave my sunburned cheek a little squeeze, while my eyes switched over to the small space between us in the booth.

"I know. But look at me. Let me see these perfect eyes." JJ's soft voice made my cheeks flush, and a delighted smile began stretching on my plump lips before I darted my eyes right back to him. Revealing his toothy and symmetrical grin spreading on his face, watching his eyes brighten like I always remembered.

"I'm sorry." He let out once again.

"I didn't take it to heart...I didn't care," I quietly notified him, watching his blonde eyebrows fly up his face for a moment, and shot back down.
