Jay and I were walking beside each other, hand in hand, on the warm sand after the clock struck six, and the sun started to glare down at us. He was dressed in a pretty light blue sleeveless shirt that showed off his muscles that I always drooled over, and dreamed about.
His soft thumb rolled around the knuckle of it, as I squeezed his thick hand numerous times with a different meaning each time. We were heading towards the loud party ahead, listening to the clamorous music that was trending, and the noisy teenagers shrieking and having the time of their lives already.

Our heads whipped around the beautiful beach, greeting all of the teenagers from the island who ran around with drinks in their hands that were sitting in a red cup. Along with matching the simple and expressive theme. Either vaguely or going all out, which we appreciated.

"Hey, guys. You guys look so cute." A familiar blonde girl walked past us, holding a red cup that was filled with perhaps alcohol, while she was dressed in a light blue flowing dress that ended on her kneecap. Giving her a look of summer, and a charming vibe. Her light features glowed with the glaring sun, flashing her light green at us. She extended her lovable smile, disclosing her sharp teeth with a couple of tooth gems on the bottom, giving us extra blindness.

"Thank you, darling. You look beautiful." I immediately dropped out, shooting her a friendly wink before she was able to fully walk past.

Soon, a deep and loud puff flew out of the blonde boy beside me, earning my light eyes to fly toward him, uncovering him squeezing his light-colored eyes shut with his fluffy hair framing his overwhelmed complexion. And from this point, I knew something was surging in his mind, but it was difficult to read and figure out why. There were numerous reasons why he could be acting this way, and many of them were ringing bells.

"Just relax, dude. What's wrong?" I pipped up, keeping my disheveled and scanning eyes on him, catching him fluttering his bright eyes open while we maintained our walk down the beach.

"I don't know..." He whispered, causing my head to drive towards the path ahead on the white sand, noticing more people giving us friendly smiles and waves.

"Act like you love me." I simply whispered, giving everyone else a positive smile, and a small head nod while I brought our interlocked hand up to my smooth lips and gave his clean knuckles a loving kiss.

"I do. But I like to live in private. You know? Not having everyone in our business. Like everyone knows we are together, but they don't know what's happening between us." He whispered lowly, causing my thick eyebrows to furrow, and I swung my head towards him. Catching him staring at me with a genuine and delicate stare, but mine only showed perplexity.
